Greaves caused controversy for employing the lawyer
Marc Randazza, known for defending
Andrew Anglin of the
Daily Stormer among other notable alt-right figures. The former TST Los Angeles chapter said Randazza was “not a neutral actor” but rather “an ally to Nazis and to alt-right provocateurs. Disaffected TST members also unearthed a radio show Greaves did with Shane Bugbee (another future TST member), who has promoted the neo-Nazi
RaHoWa (band) and
Might is Right. In the show Bugbee told he would get “get six big niggers” to rape the “fucking fag” Thomas Thorn and Greaves referred to “nigger sodomites” and called himself “an Aryan king.” Bugbee and Greaves also said they supported eugenics, and in response to a caller denying the Holocaust, they professed their hatred of the Jewish people. Greaves also interviewed the neo-nazi
George Burdi and
Tom Metzger. Greaves also held an event at the new TST headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts, linked to neo-Nazi satanist Abraxas Circle, and was attended by James Porrazzo of the
American Front. In June 2017, two months before Charlottesville, Greaves condemned what he described as a “screaming mob of mindless fascistic ‘anti- fascists’” who were “ignorant little assholes" because they had pressured him to remove
Augustus Sol Invictus from an event.
