Every time they do this, I always wonder who will dub these characters in the foreign language versions. A male actor, so the new version will be deemed transphobic by the show authors, while the viewers will consider the whole thing utterly ridiculous? Or a female actor, so viewers who don't know shit about American trans ideology will find the show so weird and alienating that they'll stop watching after they'll see a male in wig voiced by a woman?

Being a new streaming service, NBC will want to make it look like their new shows aren't all failures. Who subscribes to CBS All Access? Not even boomers, yet they somehow have shows going into third and fourth seasons.

Dare I say, I think that Fuller House is just fine as a Full House reboot. It's full of "mom" humor. Completely innocuous, just like the original show.

There's a lot of people who have vitriol for Fuller House, and I'm like "Well, if you didn't like Full House in the first place, then I don't see how you can enjoy this cheesy show either."

My family used to watch it together it was our weekday afternoon together time, but when my parents broke up my home life fell apart I watched it to remind me of better times and as corny as it was it was all I had...oh now I've depressed myself even more

Before I waste my time, how bad is the remake of Flatliners?

Ya know, its funny. When Damon Lindelof's Wokemen premiered, and myself and plenty of others criticized its ultra-woke turn, plenty were quick to respond to me with "Watchmen was already woke to begin with". And you know something? They were right.

...which made the forced added wokeness feel even more unnecessary. The problem is, when you take something that was always political albeit in a condescending, humorous way, and forcing a virtue signal happy brand of woke on top of it was sadly doing nothing but setting the minority it intended to empower up to fail.

That's why the Saved By the Bell reboot is going to set the trans community up to fail. I for one would love to see a show with a strong trans lead. That is, one THATS ITS OWN FUCKING THING. Euphoria had a great trans co-lead and surprisingly left the politics out of it so we could see said character as a character. Hell I forgot about the trans thing until a friend reminded me.

I kinda feel really bad for the actress at the center of this, really.

If you're not aware, I can answer that for you. They hate it. At a deep and abiding level. A little like Black Panthers would appreciate a group of White men putting on Black Face walking in and then declaring they're the Black people now. In fact, that direct analogy is used with the term "Womanface" going around. Imagine how creepy it is when your enemies don't merely want to get rid of you but to be you. I disagree with their Identity Politics but the RadFems are not wrong to think that the Trans Movement and Troons are a threat to them.

Doesn't help that Troons are extremely rapey towards lesbians and talk about things like "the Cotton Ceiling" and how to get past it.
