Saved By The Bell is Coming Back... - ...with a transgender lead! Just what fans of the show were asking for!

Saved by the Bell was always a garbage show imo, but seriously why does everything need a reboot and also a tranny or something thrown into it? We will be looking back at all of this shit 20 years from now wondering what the fuck people were thinking.

This is the worst era for film and television, even crap from the 2000s has loads of charm now compared to modern day woke garbage.

For example a few months ago I watched a movie from 2004 starring Ben Kingsley and Aaron Eckart called Suspect Zero, it was far from great, it was a bog standard "serial killer thriller" and everything in the movie was a cliche.

And yet there was something totally refreshing about the movie, it was free from any of the modern political BS, almost all media from yesteryear now has a vibe that just feels refreshing when compared to modern culture, even if it's bad.

I have to agree that the 2000s Era movies and TV shows are quite cheesy and cliche, but hold up much better than expected because of the charm and uniqueness, and the fact that they could actually say and do things without triggering a snowflake. Almost everything that has been a huge hit the last 10 years or so has been a reboot of some sort, all packed with political and social issues for absolutely no reason. Everything now has to have a gay or trans person in it or be made for women and SJWs or people throw a bitch fit. I get it from a business standpoint, they wanna make the most money possible and banking on nostalgia and social issues works but it's honestly very oversaturated at this point.

Zach was trans and Screech was transphobic.

SBtB was so ahead of its time, truly...

A lot of 2000s media is that way, it's better now than it was at the time, it's not just true for movies but also music, it's a weird phenomenon really.

Although to be fair I guess it isn't a really new one, stuff always gains a newfound charm when it's old enough to be viably "retro" like a lot of cheesy 80s movies like say Death Wish 4: The Crackdown, where even if people may have been rolling their eyes at the time, the 80sness of everything today is charming.

This is why I predominantly watch bad horror films. (And very occasionally, decent ones like Lighthouse.) Watching dumb teenagers get killed for doing dumb things doesn't require any social justice or moral platitudes. In fact, if there is a character like that, it only makes their inevitable deaths funnier.

Because it's always cheaper and easier to build off a pre-existing franchise than to make your own. And as long as it's not something designed to directly appeal to the right, they fear the (non-existent) threat from the far left if anything and everything isn't hyper-diversified. Even though the ones demanding the loudest are the ones who give the least amount of shits in the first place and are guaranteed to never support these franchises ever.

I would say we can assume every episode is going to feature at least one lesson about some stupid far-left issue no one else cares about.
Not to mention the show may have a heaping helping of technophilia. The social media thing I already mentioned. Everyone is a smartphone zombie - at least one episode may deal with "selfies." Maybe they'll even have guest appearances by Alexa, Cortana, Google, and/or Siri?
