I think something similar happened to Scott. His ex wife will be dating a nigger, or his son got sold the drugs that killed him by a nigger. Probably not even recently thinking about it, he might have held this in for some time.

I actually think the shit w/UPN was his 'nigger moment.' I'm picturing that he's in a room with white executives squealing about how they're going to monetize the blacks, saying shit like ITS OUR VISION, and some other shittery. Most people would cringe at this kind of conversation because we know this level of pandering is stupid; but I think, two decades ago, Scott likely saw these corpos as some kind of untouchable. It was easier for him to punch down at the silly negroes for not liking his work enough than it was for him to accept that he was just a plaything for these shitstains from the beginning.

Keep in mind that Scott is very sensitive to critique, especially for a commercial artist.

I can see he has the capacity to more or less comprehend it in his tweet about the HerShe pandering, but not the capacity to elaborate on the issue itself. Pandering to a group IS stupid. It comes from a dishonest angle. He's right not to apologize, but I don't think he's capable of explaining his angle because he elected to accept things the way they were (at the time) and seethe on it for 20+ years.

Singapore is known to be ally to the People's Republic of China, so they're certainly suspicious. Vietnam has burgeoning U.S. relations, making them potential enemies with China. Japan, Korea (I'm guessing you're speaking of the south) and the Philippines don't seem to follow Marxist-Leninism, making them less likely to export moles.
The state moles are, at this age, almost exclusively a thing that China uses to crack down on dissidents, the crackdown heavily emphasizing Chinese citizens dissenting. As for the reason China heavily desires to protect citizens abroad from external traditions and values, I'm not too sure...
