Absolutely true. I was listening to an audiobook recently called "You might be a Zombie" which is basically just a load of interesting random facts. Good to dip into and out of, so good for travel. They had a section where they said there are studies that show if you read something you agree with, you get a dopamine hit. It's true, I actually just got one from reading your post because I agree with it, I can tell. It felt good.

Reading up on it, it looks like it syndicate has dropped it permanently and probably will end in mid-March. I'm sure that Adams reserves some rights and not let it go to the corporate brand house forever--Jim Davis sold Paws, Inc. (the Garfield company) to Viacom in 2019.

I do want to see a proper sendoff, but I don't think he'd do something sappy (finds a girlfriend that reintroduces him to enjoying life again and giving him a happy ending), edgy (suicide and/or mass shooting), or something extremely autistic (whole plot reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion/End of Evangelion that incorporates both, even as visions).
