nuSCP was the original branding for BHL this was going to be part of the nuSCP brand strategy but after the Dust Jacket/BHL rebranding this was leftover and had a small but significant follower account so they kept trying to keep it somewhat active hoping that it could be useful one day at the very least it was one more place to simp for upvotes and that’s all Kaktus is motivated by in the end.
Interesting post for an AH permaban but rip I guess they just have different rules for me than everyone else

I remember when that subreddit was created, it's never been anything other than posting articles. Other than the naming, it never seemed like it had anything to do with the CSS theme.

I wasn’t included in it so my timeline could be off, but the important thing is that the origin of the nuSCP brand is Woed, Kaktus, and the Yurt conspiracy or clique or whatever you wish to call them.
Am I the first person to ever be banned for making accusations of bias and hate without actually having the veracity of those claims even entered in the record, admitting or denying it?
The main thing I am finding transphobic in hindsight is the bringing up of my supposedly disorganized mental state in the town hall thread just to proscribe the conversation, at least when one of you assholes makes that insinuation it’s always direct and I always have an opportunity to respond. They have done neither. Fuckers.
In that post I was referring to people telling me that I needed to sacrifice my own emotional well-being so that other people could take advantage of my labors to ride my persona’s coat-tails into perpetuity which is fucked up and exactly why the principles this community stands for held for so long.

Also if you’re one of the Twitterers like the friend who poked me that Kaktus decided to test his luck and tweet about me again, there are no messages from him in those PMs because he deleted them all before posting those screenshots so take what he says with a small grain of salt. Deleting every Discord message and then only posting the other person’s side of the conversation on social media with your own spin is a thing trustworthy people do tho right? That’s why I only included a self-contained snippet of only my side of the conversation here, because it would have been incredibly unethical and misleading to do otherwise. I’m not even going to put the work in to see if he cut off key parts of my messages that would challenge his context I leave that as an exercise to the reader.

I’m toying with the idea of making some info graphic charts showing (1) how many staff have turned out to be abusers/corrupt/scapegoats and (2) how Yurt is organized and how clique members use MAST to empower themselves via slowly assimilating & accumulating responsibilities from teams who are happy to have the tasks taken off their hands. It’s the same basic technique I used to become an Administrator, they didn’t call me “Little Stalin” for nothing.
The most insidious part is it only requires the ones with real power to know and everyone else will follow orders, because they trust the corrupt moderators and there are corrupt OS who normalize the concentration of power as no big deal.
Aelanna knew this too, that’s why our power struggle was so bitter, that she who controls the tags, the lore pages, and the little things controls everything.

The ss is nothing if not a Catch-22 to the core. That’s why the Yurt clique continues to accumulate power, a loosely affiliated group working within a code of silence towards shared goals outside the system can game it in their favor by exploiting its inherent contradictions and inefficiencies to quietly own the site’s arteries and always count on their own flexibility to adjust their posture as the ss changes over time because they are floating outside the established rigid ss hierarchy. Kaktus had a classic tantrum iirc about MayD being in charge of Mast and basically just gave political advice on it at the time I left, but his brand prestige within the Yurt with proximity to power giving him power is the whole reason why he’s so influential and untouchable in the first place. It also didn’t make MAST any less effective of a vehicle to give Yurt members prestige so they could take over more and more responsibilities (and also give members a strong enough resume to just take over other teams outright when the opportunity arose).
I was the only Administrator but keep your eyes out next promotion round if they elevate some or all of Kaktus’ friends. If they thought the mod/admin divide was wide before... the gap is now yurt shaped and it’s only getting larger.
