Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen a ban appeal actually work. Also, Bleep doesn't know what the word "penultimate" means; if you're going to act like a bureaucrat you should at least get your words right.

This might be the first time in the history of the wiki where a user has successfully come back after 2 permanent bans. Not even Scantron has managed that.

It's such a weird power fantasy. The descriptions of violence are so brutal and disproportionate to what the supposed nazi apparently did. It wasn't even murder, it was straight up torturous. It's a little strange to me that this person is clearly self-inserting her persona into a situation like this. For reference here's her wiki description and Twitter:
I love seeing "communism will win" in Twitter bios because you can ask them to post guns and they'll either say they don't own any (curious who they think will start the revolution then) or they'll post the most embarrassing setups you've ever seen, which as we've seen is just a fast track them screwing up and going to jail or getting Rittenhouse'd
Here's the link to his carrd if you're curious: natvoltaic.carrd.co/
This one contains all of his work: curriculumvitaic.carrd.co/
Plus this tidbit right here:
When not writing xe either dissociates herselves in a hyperpop haze or duels in thought-to-thought combat for complete control over the neuroses. Active as NatVoltaic on most platforms.
This sentence makes absolutely no sense.

It's pretty embarrassing to make a mistake like that when you're supposedly in charge of running a writing project. This is why dumb people shouldn't use big words they don't understand. It doesn't make them look smarter. It makes them look even dumber.

That retard could've said "Based on everyone's agreement, this user will be unbanned and watched like a hawk. If he does shit again, he will be banned for good." instead of this shite and it would be better.

I bet my dollar that this guy talks like a walking thesaurus like most pretentious neckbeards are.

That's how they used to talk in the old threads, but I guess with unnecessary bureaucracy there comes the feeling that they need to talk like government officials too. The entire thing is very bizarre.

I'm pretty sure your average pretentious neckbeard at least knows what "penultimate" means. It isn't that obscure.
You got a point

He's just dumb, or english isn't his first language but I don't think that's excusable either

Do they do this for the sake of "professionalism"? Because there's an exact community that is the works the same as them minus the petty doxing of a random teenage troll and shitty writing but they both have the exact same identity politics and shit political opinions in general, and functions pretty much the same in the name of political correctness.

These people are being churned in a factory somewhere, and I don't like it

I think so, yeah. They've been gradually getting more and more needlessly bureaucratic for something like a decade now, and I think that creates a sense of obligation to talk like a professional even though it's a hobbyist writing community and nobody cares either way.

They crave power. They’re weak people, and this is literally the only semblance of agency they will ever experience in their lives. Quite sad really. Instead of actually putting in the work, they only put on the façade and make a show out of it for their lackies.

It’s worse than that, because 2/3 of the people on staff are basically stand-ins for the people who did the work to get them where they are today, on the shoulders of those who faded away, burned out, or turned out to be creeps.

They are now truly the out of touch old straight white would-be wizard behind the curtain, no matter how any individual among them might identify.

“ I've reverted and locked the page, since this isn't the first time there was an unauthorized edit (the previous case being changing the object class from "Euclid" to "Bitch" by a now-deleted account).

They also made a new forum thread demanding fanart for their coldposted SCP”

Top kek my good sir.

“ I just want to say sorry, and that I'll never point out any problems with the SCP Foundation, or express any of my opinions again, just incase I get my membership revoked because people disagree with them.”

>”His final and ultimate ban... no, no... penultimate has more syllables... yeah yeah, penultimate. It must mean super-ultra-final-ultimate.”

If SCP wiki has such strict posting rules then we need to step up our game kiwis. How else will we be taken serously as an academic institution? Here are my proposed rules to keep KF post quality as high as possible:

  • Plagiarism - We take plagiarism very seriously here at KF. If you plagiarize someone the cops will be sent to arrest you. Hopefully you can rejoin the community a year later when you get out of jail.
  • Serious replies only - You are expected to wear formal attire (Suit/tie) when browsing KF. Please no ¨Memes¨ ¨Joke posts¨ or ¨Epic trolls¨ Except on ¨Shitpost sunday¨
  • Sticker reasons - If you simply rate a post for no reason you will be banned. At KF we expect critical feedback in 4-8 sentences (Or at least 1 paragraph) when you rate a post.
None of these rules apply to me BTW because im hot shit :^)

Also, don't post on threads until we get feedback for our posts, or else its coldposting.

Also, decay the ability to simply read and enjoy a post for what it is, replacing it with an elitist standard where you try harder to point out anything you would have done differently. Let’s forget that this is a pastime and pretend that only the best, most perfectly & novel posts are all that we will accept.

The wiki is currently hosting Jam Con, an annual event where they give a short prompt and everyone’s got 24 hours to crap out write a submission. The runaway winner for Day One, by the all-important metric of vote totals, comes to us from thread favorite rounderhouse: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-5929

No wonder this piece has received such universal acclaim! It is a true and honest testament to the horror, sci-fi, urban fantasy elements that made the wiki so popular in the first place. A lesser author would have sacrificed care/subtext/ambition and concluded with a lame, inoffensive joke that lets readers feel like they are “in on it” enough to score more of the internet points that have become a stand-in for self-esteem. But no, not on this wiki. We can all be extremely confident that this piece will stand the test of time.
