The shitty thing is that something like this SHOULD be heavily filtered and have a process to get your work published, but for the sake of quality. Not to ensure that your cancerous tumor feeding on its decayed host remains incestuous and on the right side of history.

While I don't believe just plopping an image down is transformative, surely there could be licensing agreement brought to some of the owners of older content like this instead of cucking out. They already say within this that the original artist didn't care as long as it wasn't profited from. It's not like SCP hasn't given rise to multiple artists careers anyway. But eh the whole wiki is barely what it once was now so if this kind of thing drives more spiritual recreations, It's better than leaving it within the control of the current admins.
