FARM#0134 is a poorly hand drawn rendition of Sonic the Hedgehog......Find. Archive. Recap. Monitor.
I don't have better idea than this. Sorry.
The MTFs are the absolute gayest part of SCP, even before the entire damn thing started getting mega pozzed they were super fucking cringeYknow I we all should've seen the signs when "Mobile Task Force" was first introduced

I honestly liked them to an extent even if many of them were meant to be fodder. Particularly that each major ruling body had one. The O5 Council had Red Right Hand, the Ethics Committee had Law's Left Hand, and the Director of the entire Foundation had Body of Consciousness. Pretty rad in concept at least. Also I liked the Samsara MTF, Tau 5. Cyborgs fused with the flesh of a dead god or some shit, basically super soldiers that are nigh unstoppable but they're only employed in extreme cases. I liked that one overarching concept where they tried to make an MTF actually using anomalous entities like Abel and the photograph girl, where it went wrong and got swept under the rug and was a forbidden subject within the Foundation. The MTFs are the absolute gayest part of SCP, even before the entire damn thing started getting mega pozzed they were super fucking cringe

I think this is done for flavor reasons, kinda to be more "secretive".Minor autistic rant (not that any of my rants are ever not autistic, but anyway), but one thing has always bothered me about the SCP Wiki, or at least references to it.
So... most of the SCP things have actual titles.... and yet they're always referred to by number.
Okay, who the fuck can actually remember these things by number? If you tell me "SCP-042" I won't have the fuckingest clue what you're on about. Tell me "the white horse SCP" though, and that might trigger something.
do you mean in universe or in general?Minor autistic rant (not that any of my rants are ever not autistic, but anyway), but one thing has always bothered me about the SCP Wiki, or at least references to it.

I assume both, but it's hard to tell due to the site's "no established canon" policy.do you mean in universe or in general?
in universe they're split up over several locations, have been neutralized, are in storage, are their own thing in bumfuck nowhere etc., and since there are only around 1500-2000 SCPs (everything after is crap anyway and can be ignored) it's not that much.
It makes the whole containment process bureaucratic, creates some boring normality to the fact that you are handling things that are not bound to the laws of reality.Minor autistic rant (not that any of my rants are ever not autistic, but anyway), but one thing has always bothered me about the SCP Wiki, or at least references to it.

I get why they did it, but it's still annoying and confusing. It makes the whole containment process bureaucratic, creates some boring normality to the fact that you are handling things that are not bound to the laws of reality.
SCP-173 is not an inanimate object that moves when no one is looking and is hostile to humans. It is 173.
Bigfoot does not exist and it is not part of a civilization older than humanity. SCP-1000 has been sighted in structures that are estimated to have been created in the Paleolithic era.
[DATA EXPUNGED] does not happen to a little girl every day to prevent the release of a demonic entity that will end the world. Procedure 110-Montauk is carried out once every 24 hours on SCP-231-7 to prevent an XK-class End of the World Scenario.
The language is there to make everything seem normal. Eldtrich abominations, horrifying atrocities, and suffering victims are removed from any emotional connotations. The Foundation wants to treat anomalies as if they were scientific phenomenon. That these anomalies can be tested, understood. To do otherwise would mean that we do not understand reality, that we are not in control of our surroundings, that there is no normal. It’s to cover the existential horror that the Foundation faces every day.
Mostly the latter. It is irritating as fuck to read articles or discussions (for example, the TV Tropes article) and every other line is a reference to an SCP number that you then need to click on to even know what it's talking about.do you mean in universe or in general?
