SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

Well honestly the funny thing is if it's good and gets upvotes then they can't really do anything about it, coldposting isn't banned it's just ill-advised. So if you're a good writer you can try to do it.
I had legit thought the rules on coldposting had gotten stricter to the point of effectively banning it. Thanks for proving me wrong. I've coldposted my thing, so far so good.

The rule requiring several greenlights in multiple stages only applies to looking for draft critiques, you need people to vet your idea in a separate forum before you can ask for critique on the real article. Which I think is fucking retarded. It doesn't take a degree in journalism or 2 man-days of time to figure out if a SCP concept is shitty by reading part of the actual draft, especially when what is considered "good" on the site includes tranny fanfiction and other shit that is made directly for the trash bin.

Can you link it so I can upvote?

Speaking of cold posting, check the newest SCP pages. Fuckin' kek. Also, wait, which one is yours? Would be funny if it was the one I'm looking at.
I'd rather not direct link the page, yeah
Nevermind, I'll check again. It's an SCP not a tale right? Hmm, may have found it.

Why yes a world where "Erotic Living" would be A-ok and not an absolute sodom and gomorrah worthy of being nuked into oblivion due to the rampant pedophilia, rape and God knows what.

Are these niggers entirely driven by their fetishes?
Can they think straight?
It gets worse. I've recently come across a really disgusting article in series 9 about a statue that spawns spiders in women's vaginas when they have sex near it. There's nothing else to it, no twist, no real story, just shock value. It's extremely graphic, written by a tranny, and highly upvoted. Pretty sure it's 100% fetish fulfillment.

Yes, and no. Coomers have long since lost their ability to function normally. Anything not sexually depraved is not worth their time and gives them no pleasure. It's like the sun, wholesomeness blinds them.

I think whoever is supposed to be in charge of quality control and article approval either gave up and is just approving anything so they don't have to deal with it anymore or is 100% a coomer themselves.

I've gotten to the point where I see a 5000+ and immediately assume the article is shit. There was one Volgun did recently about the fish acting as supposed ships to offset the civilian cargo ships being destroyed, but I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that what's causing the phenomenon isn't known. It's strange that the Foundation can discover literal godlike beings underground, chained to some cave but can't figure out why ships are acting up.

That's why there needs to be consistent documentation on how competent the Foundation is. Since there's none, we have shit like this.

I can't recall that one but I really like the idea of something so utterly Alien to human existence the foundation is only able to observe the results and not pinpoint the cause.

I had an idea for a story a while ago people got that Survival Endurance depression thing that some people get where they just go through the motions to survive and by all external measures for the situation are covering everything but they just end up giving up an dieing in there sleep etc, I forget the medical name but that's the premise.

In the story I was thinking of writing was this was just happening to normal people not in survival situations the first indications are a marked uptick a slow one but growing for a few months of the people on the fringe of society, like Drunk an Drug abusers, the homeless etc then people who are only one bad decision or financial issue going up and up all the way through upper echelons of society nobody could find a cause for it and all branches of Science, Medicine and even Religions offered explanations, but no external reason for it the whole world is laser focused on this because in the last 6 months half the worlds population has died.

Governments have fallen, supply chains are faltering or failing, infrastructure is failing because there isn't enough people to maintain it, crops are going unharvested etc this is a slow end of the world with a whimper scenario, I wanted to end it with a old woman walking into university in Greece a very old woman on a cane waking her way though the abandoned classrooms and laboratories to a conservation department and putting something into a wooden box and closing the lid picking up the box an putting it under her arm and walking away and getting younger as she walks away.

And with the exception of the last chapter I wanted to write it in the style of personal notes, news reports, blog posts etc assembled by someone after the fact, possibly very LONG after the fact.

Ya know, thinking about it, I think I really started losing interest in SCP after they started shoving multiverses and meta shit into things.

You see Multiverses can be done an done well, and given our current understanding of Physics they are 100% a thing - BUT the SCP guys being unoriginal have just copied Marvel and made it worse (and that was already low effort).

One of the more recent better takes was a meta Multiverse in "Their is no anti-memetics division" it had a level of depth an thought in it you don't see much BUT while not a multiverse it was a metaverse where unless you are medicated on some really nasty drugs you'd not even notice the difference, it's like if we lived (as in you reading this) where the X-Files had Mulder an Skully but Mulder was a woman and Skully was a man but everything else remained the same.

You don't even have to be that minor for it to work, say in 1944 the Germans stumbled on a new branch of science and while it has wide application it's really almost anomalously good at working with anomalies so lets say the OG SCP The Statue was able to be contained in a safe way by using a extremely specific set of refracting an recursing mirrors, or keeping the old man locked in his own dimension, etc. But that makes things "our" SCP foundation contain easily really hard for them to contain like AI because they didn't develop there understanding of the technology in the same way.

N-now? I thought most of us already did for the most part.

Pretty much, even if done well the whole Multiverse concept is just overused that it's stale regardless.

A wierd SCP - is Our reality we are the canonical definition of baseline the singular anomaly we have is the SCP databases but is an amalgamation of others from either side of the decision tree,

Edit to Add an Explain:

Out real reality is the most normal an stable we are the trunk of the tree, we have one singular anomaly and it is the SCP records being a fun / weird fiction, and we are as stupid as it sounds normal humanity.
