Since we're at Page 100, why don't we talk about SCPs that we do like/enjoy mildly? One of my favorites has to be the Japanese vending machine that dispenses different shit depending on how much yen is inserted into it.

Here's a some modern articles that I actually like.

SCP-4634: Has a unique concept with a fantastic twist at the end.

SCP-4729: Manages to have an emotional punch without being a billion-words long. Plus, it's got some pretty cool imagery too.

SCP-2295: Same reason as above.

SCP-3127: I'm a sucker for weird shit, so this article is right up my alley.

SCP-2747: One of the few long and modern articles that managed to keep my attention, mainly because of it's amazingly clever execution.

Got a tip of a thought-provoking old sandbox page, To MAST members who are/were not in the Yurt: Rounderhouse and Woe were lurking in there because we planned on using the team as a vehicle to rehabilitate and get them on staff but that went nowhere because they did no work so the non-Yurt staff didn’t even humor the idea of promoting them. Just in case you ever thought it was off or odd that the first generation of people in the MAST server were also all djkaktus’ inner circle regardless of staff status, my ss readers.

Exactly my point, it’s not a ss front organization it’s a Yurt conspiracy front organization. Probably why it isn’t particularly subtle about the presentation of “Yurt pick of the week” for themselves referenced as “our own” since it was flying under the radar until now.

Speaking of which, here’s a few screencaps of conversations I had with participants over time more directly referencing the Yurt, sometimes by name, sometimes by reference to channels like #fuck and #review-board are Yurt channels, and the icon Yossi uses of Rounderhouse’s avatar is a Yurt custom icon (this is also where the cat reacts from MAST originally came from)

They had bigger plans but abandoned it because it wasn’t immediately popular and now put half-hearted effort into maintaining the semblance of activity. Even though they have taken power, they have only been successful when corrupting existing institutions for their own ends. Seen standing on their own merits, as demonstrated here, their influence is paper thin.
