Holy shit, is that creepswork? I thought that guy stopped making videos after his channel got deleted
Yeah, he's still around. He rebranded to a new channel called Ten Bond because he didn't wanna do greentexts anymore. His old Punished Creepswork channel is still up.

As far as SCPs go, I only listen to The Exploring Series. He usually covers the "greatest hits", and even those can be spotty.

You're going places, Punished Venom! Good for you.

Also, whose the second one?
I would presume they refer to @ToS because otherwise I have no idea who they would be referring to, unless somehow they are peeking into the Discord server to see everyone who’s there and know more than they would from observing via the outside.

Uhhh, elaborate?
Not super informed, but FloppyPhoenix, phamtomguy and other folk set up a doxxing cabal to fuck with RPC (and failed at it).

What's the tl;Dr of the article? I don't wanna waste my time.
tl;dr: dead God-tree underground locked in perpetual battle with one of the last four knights of the second human kingdom to ever exist. It sounds really cool to put it that way, but stretch this over easily 10,000 words and it stops being so cool after the first 2,000.

I’ve always said his shit has the potential to be interesting if it were completely divorced from the context of the SCP Foundation. Like, I don’t hate the concept. There’s some interesting ideas there as its own standalone fantasy world. But why is it an SCP? Being told through the format of containment fiction does nothing for it, and actively makes it less interesting because it’s all exposition with no story.

Really, exposition and fantasy world building is antithetical to the format. Containment fiction is at its best when everything is ambiguous and barely understood, even by the people who are supposed to be locking these things up. The best horror always comes from the implications.

I disagree that they're incompatible, but I pretty much share your viewpoint. The confic format is especially flexible and easy to warp, while providing the opportunity to exploit negative space and explore your stories in unique ways - the only thing it's really bad at is going on for long.

I've ignored SCP during my years on the internet and only a few months ago got introduced to it through 682. Neat lizard but some of the canon (and most of the non-canon) stuff gets 6edgy8me, or downright poorly written. Its dialect gets dangerously close to 14 year old fanfiction writer levels multiple times and the super deep voice often used to portray it speaking is just too much. Too bad, because so far it's my favorite for how much of a blank slate it seems to be for interesting conversations and scenarios

That's one of the first things I noticed. The focus seemed to veer off uncontrollably from disturbing imagery and the gray area between understanding and mystery, into dedicated worldbuilding and hyping up all the biggest and most impactful SCPs. It would be a lot cooler to stick with monsters that are straight up terrifying, which doesn't require much of a body count at all

fuck off failed doxer lol

You can search up RPC's staffchat for them, or ask staff themselves.
If you insist.
So I looked into this, and from what I can tell, there wasn't any doxing. Unless I'm missing something here, the incident your referencing seems to be some whiny kid (now a deleted user, but I think their name was Vizlox(?) crying that a group of weens/failtrolls he trusted said he was a "stupid ape", and the RPC admins consoling him and banning the weens for "harassment of minors". As for the actual weens, I think they were attempting to make the RPC staff team look bad by editing screenshots with captions to point out perceived stupidity/racism, but I couldn't find any instances of doxing similar to what you described. An all around retarded, petty, unusual situation that I couldn't give less of a fuck about.

I don't know what your intentions were here, but these are fairly substantial things to assert, esp. considering this person is a prolific SCP writer and moderator on SCP-declassified. This thread isn't your personal outlet to accuse people you don't like of doxing over weird interpersonal drama from 2019.

So no doxxing, just a bunch of really idiotic behavior all around. Much obliged for keeping our integrity intact!

Agreed, leave the big shit as hints and cameos in different articles (like it used to be)
