As someone working retail and has helped collect carts, I really don't care if people return carts or not. Shopping carts are a convenience for customers, so not returning carts is simply removing that convenience for shoppers like yourself.

The only time it was an actual problem was the time I worked at a hardware store and employees actually need the specialty carts to do their jobs.

Honestly, if it's a grocery store it's fine, whatever. If you don't return your cart at stores which have seriously heavy things like hardware or furniture stores, you deserve to be mocked by a random retard with a gopro.

I don't understand where anyone gets the idea returning carts is exclusive to whites, when most often the people not returning carts are white people who think they're too good to return carts.

There is no problem with leaving my cart in this parking spot, because there isn't a car there. While this is true, US currency does not have a commonly circulated coin denomination that would compel people to return carts every time. In Europe they have 1 and 2 Euro coins, all we have is the lowly quarter, and I doubt most people would return a cart over a quarter. They'd have to make the mechanism work for multiple quarters, then you're expecting people to carry those in a society where a lot of people barely even carry cash anymore. Maybe it would work, but I'm already imagining the publications of woke media conglomerates blaming stores for mistreating "financially challenged inner city peoples."
Plus the stingy store owners wouldn't want to spend money to adopt such carts.

Personally I would like to see it happen. I used to be a cart gatherer, and getting the nests of 20+ carts at the end of the day is just awful. I don't think it would happen though.

Where did I say any of that? I just do not believe that men should harass women in parking lots, who are clearly distressed, who clearly request to be left alone, over one fucking shopping cart. Do I get annoyed if, in a busy parking lot, the only space available has a fucking cart planted in the middle of it? Yes.
