I get the point you were trying to make but it's pretty wack. Using a Family Guy clip doesn't help.
I was making a point toward comedians not rap. The video I linked was an analogy that you didn't seem to grasp.

Parents Just Don't Understand, banger.
A Nightmare on My Street, banger.
Summertime, absolute banger.
Lost and Found is an above average pop-rap record.

No I got the analogy. You were just wrong. Using Family Guy doesn't help.

From your posts, you seem pretty racist in a way yourself.

Ya, I know. I am wack.
Naw I'm just right.

This is the last time I'm going to talk about this because you've derailed the subject of this thread. I used that video as an analogy toward stand up comedians. I was not talking about rap music, you immediately changed the subject to rap music. I'm sorry I jokingly used a video from a sitcom you dislike as a joke to make my point but if that's the biggest thing you got hung up on I'm done here.

WTF we doing sperging about something forgettable like rap music, anyway? I'm black and I don't care for the stuff all that much, unless it's old school, that is... But that's neither here nor there!

I know how to fix this - are there any reactionary comments on Seinfeld's rants from any Tumblrfucks out there worth posting? That would be at least somewhat amusing to have on display - anything to make this thread worthwhile again, ya know.

Meh. Salon tried to whine about it and most of the response Tweets were basically telling them to go fuck themselves.

Normally I hate Seinfield, but he's completely right about this. I've been to Berkeley, which is probably the most liberal and sensitive colleges out there, and the people can't take jokes at all. They always try to find something "intolerant" or "offensive".

And apparently comedians are afraid of making jokes about Bruce/Catilyn in fear of SJWs. Wow.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Political correctness has no place in comedy. It's the bane of every comedian. It's like wanting clean rap
Eh, if political correctness kills comedy, then it's the comedian's faults. Like, see Michael Richards. He got called out for being a dumbass (for racist speech) and that was precisely the right reaction. If you really believe you're saying something funny, then it's up to you to stand up for it. Grow a pair. That's essential to comedy, taking risks on these sort of issues.

There needs to be social back-pressure against dipshits, just as comedy provides pressure in support of dipshits. (Well, the argument with comedy can probably be boiled down to "stop taking things so seriously!", but you get what I'm aiming at.)

Growing a pair doesn't get you your job back if you get fired for no good reason. For instance, Bill Maher getting fired for comments after 9/11 that were simply stating a reasonable opinion.

If you get blacklisted and basically no longer have a career, all the balls in the world won't pay your rent.

Michael Richards wasn't a case of political correctness run amok, he just chimped out and said nigger a lot in a very unfunny way. That was indeed his fault. His fault wasn't just being a racist idiot, but basically losing his shit and getting owned by a heckler. That's as big a fail as you get as a comedian.

But losing your career over absolutely trivial shit is what people reasonably fear, and why they stay the fuck away from college campuses. It's not worth the harassment, and basically they have a choice between fucking up their career by doing a bland, unfunny routine or fucking it up by offending some fringe SJW weirdos and ending up on the wrong side of some jihad.

A career in stand-up is a very marginal thing at best, and it doesn't take much to kill it.

Stopping doing college shows IS a reasonable career choice. You won't see Doug Stanhope doing colleges, or Louis C.K. Seinfeld is just saying something he's in a position to say because he's wealthy and influential enough not to give a fuck. I bet there are a ton of people whose position is not so solid who think the same thing but wouldn't say it.

Sam Hyde did something to prove this last year. Of course, in his case it doesn't really hurt him because he set out to piss them off from jump. Imagine if he was someone trying to make it in standup, or even someone reasonably established doing this and not a professional troll. They'd be fucked.

It's something - at least it's something. But it's pretty damn sad how these SJWs think they can run shit. Even when those people telling them to fuck off are right.
And thankfully enough, this isn't some black and white struggle here - if only because I stand by the fact that the SJWs are wrong for all of this denial. Too bad they're everywhere - and yeah; playing comedy like this at colleges full of them..... Do I even need to say anything else?

Depends on how quickly you can find the right niche. Like, a stand-up comedian who made an image of themselves pissing off SJWs could easily appeal to the redpill crowd for a base. That seems to have worked out pretty well for O&A.

On the other hand, you have Amy Schumer recycling le neckbeard xD jokes from Reddit, and that gets her by just fine.

Plus its not like college students have money to spend to see stand-up comedy so....nothing of value was lost?
