Fundamentally, most of the newly-arrived 'regulars' there are just after a safe hugbox where they can plot to Save the West from. I had fun in there back in 2020 because people were sperging in new and exciting ways, but it's just a tedious little facebook communities group where you can say nigger these days.

counterpoint: they would stay put in a place that let them stay put, but like us TERFs, these people have noplace to go.

The saviors of the West differ from TERFs in very important ways of course: they're young and male instead of middleaged and female, so they're way more aggro, but paradoxically they'd all be content in their own hugboxes because unlike TERFs they really don't have any activist tendencies. TERFs don't stay on the internet; reactionaries do.

The hugboxes that used to contain these people have been eliminated. They're parasitic gypsies because the second someone builds something to host them, it's attacked.

3. Metokur threads, which may be distinguished from other Internet Famous threads because its discussions are combative.

I use the term 'combative' to distinguish Internet Famous from Metokur threads. This is why I hate that thread and its users. Everywhere else on the site, there is a team. People generally understand and appreciate that this site and our community is balanced on a fucking thread. Metokur users do not get that. They are mostly users who joined after all of our largest problems were taken care of and don't care about the rest of the site. I feel these users are exploitative and see the forum as a means to an end rather than something to contribute to.

Political sperging is the bread and butter, isn't it? A lot of people seem to come to the farms exclusively to say the n word and other racist nonsense.

Yeah, I've spent the better part of a year almost now telling people who sperg out and get overly argumentative to just ignore these people that piss them off, and they refuse out of some weird sense of honor or fear of looking like a coward.

If mods had the power to force ignore it would at least help with that aspect of the problem. For straight up fed posting I feel like no mercy enforcement is the only option.

But giving people who use the ignore feature a dunce cap will already make the problem of people refusing to use ignore worse. Unless you just mean the ones who have it forced upon them of course.

Sperg and slapfight as much as you want but it has to be pasta metaphors and parables and analogies and similes and whatever. Really it's about saving the huwhite race or whatever, but the language is all pasta. If you can't turn your autism into a delicious pastapost you get the hammer

Nobody wants to go to cry to Null about someone calling them gooey overcooked linguine

They're not wrong. Only cowards turn the ignore feature on instead of just scrolling past usernames they know are going to piss them off. Unfortunately the types of people to run crying to Internet Mommy are simultaneously too fragile to be in any social situation and too entitled to do the bare minimum to protect their own precious feelings.
