That is not what I'm saying, it's not about having people say mean things to you ): it's that any kind of information that goes against A&H'ers beliefs will never stick, will never make them think, will never change their views. Either way would be like reading the article to a dog or to read it in an empty room, either way someone hears but cannot understand it, or nobody at all hears it.

What the hell is the rest of the site except focused news on specific people?

Explain to me, first how the hell is A&H a hugbox when there's literally nothing stopping anyone from posting in it other than "waaaaaaaaah people were mean to me!!!!".
Second, explain to me how each and every single politically oriented thread in Community Watch isn't in and of itself a hugbox.

Two things on this, first, like A&H you don't see much spillover from WW. If you're making a sheer numbers comparison here it would seem to me A&H does a better job at preventing spillover than WW does.
Second, if A&H makes up over half of the new users I'm wondering then how exactly it can be argued they're not integrating into the rest of the site, would seem to me then that perhaps the other users should integrate into A&H if its users are the majority. Since you brought up the concept of "the browns" as it applies to nations, looks to me like the complainers are the illegals crossing across the border into A&H here.

Because you're very selectively responding to my posts and constantly shifting your primary argumentation. If you can't give an answer of some sort to these points this back and forth is a complete waste of time as otherwise you're very obviously needling for some kind of ground for your point of view to stand on, and let me tell you now: you won't. This has been a recurring conversation for years now and I've heard every single argument or point you can make on the topic. Unless you can come up with a completely original argument in favor of heavier moderation, it'll just be a repeat of conversations I've had in the A&N metathread and I'm sick to death of having to respond to the same shitty, disingenuous bullshit I've already responded to three or four times over before.

I've been here since 2014. Not consecutively, but probably about a quarter of this forum's lifespan including the CWCki forums years. But you wouldn't know it. This is on purpose. Even in 2014, the internet was extremely hostile to even milquetoast counter-establishment opinions, and if you use this site for anything but gossiping about internet retards, it could come back to bite you eventually. So I post for a while, take a break for a year or two, then come back under a different name and pepper in a few inconsistent details about my personal life. You could call it excessively paranoid, and you wouldn't be wrong, but it works for me.

Nobody here has any reason to believe me, and I will never offer any proof. But it's true.

That said, the reason I hang out almost exclusively on A&N these days despite rarely posting there prior to this incarnation is because the rest of the forum isn't as fun any more. Even the darker corners of the on-topic boards like Tard Baby General and its predecessors used to be more gallows humor than genuine anger. But now it's all just so angry. As if these people actually matter. As if a disgusting person killing themselves with mukbangs or a microtransaction-addicted retard are something to be actually, for-real upset about. People trooning out their kids, sure, hate them as much as they deserve. But the correct response to a terminally online social media drone is to ignore them, not to talk every day about how angry they make you.

It used to be that if people got mad at the continued existence of Chris or Wings or whoever they'd be told to lol calm down, but now that behavior is the rule rather than the exception. And I'd rather hear some politisperg call Biden "Brandon" a thousand times than listen to someone write a screed about how they fantasize about torturing the Wogglebug to death, because at least the politisperg is trying (and failing) to be funny. It's also understandable to be furiously upset about a news article about a pedophile. It is not understandable to be furiously upset about someone's cockroach fan fiction.

I guess what I'm saying is, you can't "fix" the thunderdome because it's the void that gazes back at the rest of the site, and the only moderation it really needs is making it illegal to ping users with the intention of starting a slapfight. Also, there are probably six or seven users that should be forcibly made to ignore six or seven other users, and vice versa, because it's always the same people telling each other to take their opinions OFF THE INTERNET NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW. Aside from that, everyone acting like there's some way to make the thunderdome more "fun" should clean up their own house first. You'd be amazed at how things improve when you lead by example.

What I'm saying is that I don't think this is happening here. You are making an appeal to Null but the point of the OP is that it's not just the "libtards" who feel this way and that he's already near the end of his rope with /pol/ gypsies, analogizing this vague category to parasites and viruses. When you argue with oldfags who could potentially defend new users as viable and reasonable and say that the older users are the ones who are becoming radical, I don't think it's a useful strategy if the website's maintainer is already leaning so far in the opposite direction.

I can't say for certain it's happening here, but you'd be surprised where these things can happen.

Having proof of the statement and why it's so incorrect is vital, I've actually corrected people before on shit in some threads and in the end they actually shifted their opinion on the topic.
I think this is what's really important, saying "why do I need to provide a source" only further drives the "no u" shit that drives the board so far into the dirt, it's why I actually stopped looking at the Ukraine threads since A) I'm from neither country nor any adjacent ones, so I really have no good clue on the conflict or contexts and B) Holy shit those threads are a hellhole of endless rageposting last I bothered to check.

I don't mean this reply as me taking a side in the current slapfight and more as a general point towards what you've brought up. I think with calm and sourced discussions people's opinions can shift on topics, there's that old quote that deranged points die under the view of scrutiny (which is why I never agreed with the idea of shifting extreme ideologies into their own corners, it just lets it fester).
