Coincidentally enough, Matador was struck by a likely EF5 tornado in a 0% tornado risk two years ago, but was controversially only rated an EF3.

The rotational speed on everything is crazy. Plus early on you can see horizontal vortices a few times

Several violent tornadoes were spawned by a single rogue supercell yesterday in Nebraska.
At least one of these tornadoes was nearly 2 miles wide. Very reminiscent of the Greensburg supercell and tornado family.

Also, a Moderate (Level 4/5) risk is in effect for today. An upgrade to a High risk is possible but I don't think it'll happen.

Watching that 2 miler grow on Max Velocity's livestream was nuts. Super glad that monster was going through basically the middle of nowhere, I can't imagine how awful the destruction would have been if it had hit populated areas
 
Here's some footage of the Nebraska megawedge:
It took on a characteristic lopsided shape that seems to be associated with many of the super high end tornadoes where they appear kind of 'crooked' or leaning on one side.

These are all high end F/EF-5s (or at least with that level of power in the case of El Reno) and are some of the strongest tornadoes ever recorded so its definitely a blessing that the Nebraska wedge spent its whole life in the middle of nowhere.
 
May is the peak of the season for this, for those unaware. Going for half the month in peace and quiet is not rare, but not common either. June is where it tapers off so two weeks to go.
Then it picks back up for the Northern Plains in July.
 
Currently in areas hit by the 1925 tri-state tornado, we have a violent tornado on the ground with a storm producing 3 inch hail. 100 years later Cairo, IL is about to get hit again

Tornado warning for Baltimore, MD among other storms producing 70-80 MPH gusts. Currently just radar indicated

Multiple extremely violent tornadoes simultaneously ongoing. One of them, which is heading into Columbus, IN very soon, has a triple-body-scatter-spike (TBSS) on its debris ball; only seen in one other tornado, that being the Mayfield, KY EF4 (arguably EF5) tornado.

Update: 5 dead with 15 injured within the city. About 20 square blocks of the metropolitan area was hit. The St. Louis City Zoo was hit when the tornado touched down (although all animals are safe and accounted for). A children's hospital was narrowly missed, luckily only sustaining shattered windows and other minor damages. Current estimates believe that around 5000 homes and businesses within the city were damaged by the storm and tornado. Multiple partial and full building collapses have been reported, and the city has been placed under curfew.

ETA: Link to referenced article, updated injury total. It is also now being reported that at least 2 confirmed tornados hit the city.

In what seems to be a pattern for the last year or so Kentucky has once again been hit hard by this round of severe weather. The photos I’m sharing are from Sommerset, Ky where a huge tornado hit around 1am and caused major damage to the area. It could potentially be another mass casualty event

That first image is incredible and terrifying, it couldn’t have been snapped at a more perfect time

Tried to find a video of the tornado but couldn’t on FB or YT so for the hell of it I’ll post a video from the same city 13 years ago of another huge tornado that blew through

I caught a special marine warning yesterday that mentioned low visibility in blowing dust, thought that was odd.

SPC day 1-3 outlooks are all currently enhanced risk, with a 30% risk area on the day 4 outlook. We're not done yet
