Put Max Velocity on, current chaser and the cop in front of them are probably going to have the Greensburg tornado cross right in front of them. Tornado is completely rain wrapped

Edit: A train in or near Greensburg was derailed by the tornado and was carrying hazardous materials, just mentioned on Max Velocity.

They just said on Max Velocity's stream that the Greensburg tornado derailed a train that may have been carrying hazardous materials.

Edit: The same supercell just dropped another tornado.

A tornado of likely EF5-intensity is ongoing and about to strike the town of Plevna.
Tornado emergencies are issued for towns with at least a few thousand population. This only has a population of 500. This tornado is of such indescribable intensity that they completely ignored that criteria.

Nigga what the actual fuck. I have never seen anything like this. This might be the one.

Just cored the town of Plevna without much, if any, weakening. I don't think the town even exists anymore. This is dreadful.
Might keep going through Hutchinson, a decent-sized small town.

Used to work with a guy from Hutch. Hope he's hunkered down.

Should go northeast of it but the new tornado that's forming may hit Willowbrook.

Reno county police officer states Plevna took it head-on. Only a matter of time before damage photos start rolling in.
One thing to be noted is that Plevna is terribly small, only around a quarter of a square mile - with a population >100...
There's a harrowing feeling that comes with violent tornadoes striking tiny communities like this.

Reports coming in of brick home(s) leveled.

Colorado had 3 tornados yesterday.
Fuckin wild.

Just a bad year after quite a while were Tornados were rarer than normal (as far as I am aware.)

the floods, lightning storms and the heavy winds, Im fine with. Tornados are a no bueno for me, My plants cant survive being torn to shit by them
Earlier this year right after we had the explosion of green growth from our first good rain we had a rain storm that came down so hard it stripped all the new leaves off the trees blanketing the ground.

My entire backyard felt like stepping into a different dimension, every inch of ground blanketed with bright green. Surreal and eerie.

Texas goes through regular spans of droughts, then just pure onslaught of rain storm after rain storm.

Its surreal to see a ground that looked close to a desert environment, suddenly become a swamp the next day

Here's a video from The Appalachian Channel with John Ward showing what parts of London Kentucky look like now.

The part at about eleven minutes in, showing the busted up trees upset me as much as anything else I've seen from there.
That area doesn't get tornados. It's why people feel so secure living in little raggedy trailers.

At least the Dog Patch Trading Post is still standing. Gives one a bit of hope.

Anyone wanting to send help should contact local churches, they seen to be the main ones providing aid right now.
