-Probably the first time was when I was on some message board (can't remember where) and the discussion was about music, and we were talking about how sometimes we liked oldies, and one girl was like, "Oh yeah, I love Bon Jovi!"

-When my aunt told us the story of the time she was babysitting my cousin's youngest kid, and he pointed at the phone on the wall and was like, "Grandma, what's that?"
-Hearing that most of my teachers from high school are now retired.
-Naps are a GOOD thing.
-Hearing about kids getting in trouble for texting at school, and remembering how much easier it was when you could just write notes to each other, because teachers would think you were taking actual notes. (And remember folding them in those little squares?)
-I miss being able to slam the phone down when I'm pissed at somebody.
And finally, three cousins I used to babysit:
-Youngest is in college
-The middle is currently going for bother her Masters AND her Ph.D. at the same time.
-And the oldest got a degree in zoology, and at one point was in the Caymans, studying a rare species of iguana (or some kind of lizard) with the local zoo.
Jesus, these are kids I used to put in time out!
