And hearing Pat smugly claim that the game will never outright confirm it, and just leave it up to interpretation is insufferable.

It is intended as just call backs. So whats with all the dejavu moments of James interacting with stuff that was in the previous games? Is this just a neat thing put for people who played the OG or implying some kind of time-loop shit theory?
Look up when the thread was created retard.lol you retards are now praising OG Silent Hill 2 because it got a remake. you do realise that "horror" game was responsible for being the progenitor for shitload of ansty "depression analogy" horror games tainting the mediasphere today. It's dogshit, and you should feel bad for falling for the group praise and worshipping a turd just because it's 22 years old and got an even worse version.
no lolLook up when the thread was created retard.
So, out of curiosity, what do you consider to be a good horror game?t's dogshit, and you should feel bad for falling for the group praise and worshipping a turd just because it's 22 years old and got an even worse version.
Ghouls Forest 4So, out of curiosity, what do you consider to be a good horror game?
When every problem can be solved by shooting it, any sense of dread is gone for me.I don't know about the rest of you but I never got scared from playing a Doom wad. Is a horror game that only has jumpscares and loud noises any better than the antsy depression analogies?
You're checking the wrong one. I mentioned Ghouls Forest 4.I don't know about the rest of you but I never got scared from playing a Doom wad. Is a horror game that only has jumpscares and loud noises any better than the antsy depression analogies?
It's a tough pill to swallow, but the OG performances haven't aged well and sound bad in comparison.
Trigger Warning: James killed his wife. (not spoiler just trigger warning)Why did no one say there's a fucking trigger warning when you start the Blooper Hill?
Fuck it, I'm setting everything to the most "modern gameplay standards" options they have, for the full Current Year™ experience.
Evidently the Chinese are pushing it in a bid to bankrupt companies and make them easier to be bought.Imagine a car company stating they want to get rid of car drivers. How can you employ disgusting monsters who want to eradicate your costumers?? Wtf is this shit? Why are these people getting hired in an industry they openly hate and work to to destroy? WTF is going on here? Is there a (communist? jewish? Illuminati? WEF? Whatever? ) conspiracy to destroy video games and the billion dollar game industry? Destroy all games to make the ex-gamers do what...?
I don't get it.
Bit of a tangent, but this reminds me of how they hyped up joker 1 as something that would light the countryside on fire and jack shit happened. Then they made a sequel to shit all over the original because it wasn't supposed to be uplifting or meaningful.I think on some level the power-havers know that normies don't care how foul the messaging gets in media or how antagonistic they might get toward gamers, niche nerd culture in general and white heterosexual (even gay to a degree) men.
They do however have a serious imbalance when it comes to gamers, niche nerd culture in general and white heterosexual (even gay to a degree) men becoming violent domestic extremists and actually causing the kind of trouble the power havers really need as a cassus belli to justify stomping harder on the majority of the population's necks.
They think if they can antagonise the majority enough, enough of the fringe weirdos will eventually lose their minds and do something stupid that the entire Overton Window can be shrunk around that fringe of a fringe of a fringe, and thereby justify crushing the freedoms of everyone to everyone.
The thing they want you to be more than anything is crazy and violent.
The thing that drives them fucking nuts is when you're articulate, funny, persuasive and charming and they can't silence you.
I remember watching that and enjoying it, but I completely understand why other people don't. While it lines up more with how Vader is portrayed in the expanded media and games it lacks the honest spark and atmosphere of the original. I'm more tolerant because I view it as a sort of "what if "or interesting experiment rather then a true supplement to the original.I think a fair barometer for predicting whether one will enjoy the SH2 remake or not is how they feel about the below Star Wars scene (unfortunately, the uploader has disallowed embedding):
