even a hopelessly burnt-out cop spiraling down into madness as Silent Hill shatters any remaining illusions about justice.

Fuck I forgot about the Telltale visual novel rumor! That would have been better than this (I personally fuck with VNs), but of course Konami had to go with another Last of Us cinematic game with soulslike elements for "modern" audiences because that's what makes money
If you think telltale would have done anything different than another entry into Therapy Town anthology I've got a haunted bridge to sell you.
It's only missing the character solving puzzles for you while thinking out loud and something in the environment being painted yellow.
MARIA... WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU...???

Telltale specifically, no, but I think it was just what normies used to refer to the story-based game rumor at the time since Telltale's TWD was probably their only exposure to visual novels at that point. Kind of like saying souls-like. I'm retarded, though, so don't quote me.

Thanks for all the technical help. I've gotten all the Team Silent games up and working on DS/PCSX2, for right now. I'll try and play through all of them when I have some time.

Time to see what all the fuss is about...

if youre emulating bind something to a 30% X press for 2/3 they have light and heavy attacks pressure bound. I usually use dpad down or a touchpad swipe on the dualsense

I've played every single SH game and despite none of them being any good after 4 I still persevere. That is to say I fully intend to play the new one and am still holding out hope that maybe one day the series will be good again. That said I dread seeing how Goober Squad is going to fuck up remaking the first one. If the SH2 remake is anything to go by, I expect it's going to be at least twice as long as the original and crammed fully of pointless busywork to pad out the the runtime to "AAA standards", that is to say at least like 20 hours to slog through the story.
