Rob really hasn't changed. He received money for doing nothing and disappeared. This has been his MO for years. Make 2 videos for a 6 month span and disappear for a year. Gee, I wonder why you never got past 19k subscribers Rob. You "promised" more streams and nothing. Pathetic.
Probably the most repeated lie Rob has ever told was the classic "I'll stream later guys." Consistently, throughout his 20 year youtube output, he rarely made a part two of something when he promised. If part one didn't hit the numbers he wanted, he would abandon it and never bring it up again. Here are some examples:
Silent Rob Announces a full AI Album [Unreleased] Feb 2025
Rob tries to monetize AI music that he already released for free on his channel. He mostly whines about how producing AI music is an artform, how he sold all his Playstation games and systems. E-begs for donations to get a new PS5.
Anger Rising Action 52 the movie part 1 [no part 2]
Rob and Asalieri collaborated on a movie to commemorate Rob's one claim to fame 15 years after the fact. He calls back to many of his characters and jokes from the olden days. He was going to remake his review and do more skits I guess. Asa was the only one who put in any effort. I think this may have been edited by Drunkenpunk. The ending teased a part 2 that never materialized.
Nintendo Hard the Quest to Destroy the NES Part 1 [No further parts]
Rob made a huge announcement video one day in early 2019. As a new year's resolution, Rob stated he was going to beat every NES game. It's not as impressive as it sounded because he lifted this idea from The Mexican Runner. He was only going to play the USA set of NES games which amounts to around 677 officially licensed games and about 100 more unlicensed. We can estimate 750 total which is more than what Rob anticipated. He posted a list of rules on Face Destroyers United which is now lost to time, but he does outline some of the conditions in the stream. He stipulated he was going to use emulators and save states, which defeats the entire purpose of this endeavor. He wasn't going to play any RPGs because they were too long and only 20 minutes of arcade since they mostly didn't have end states. Streamers who beat arcade games usually go for the high score or the last board, but Rob put zero thought into the totality of this endeavor.
He managed to "beat" Robocop, Bionic Commando, Batman, Ducktales and Total Recall.
5 games or 0.67% of the US NES library
Apparently John Smith has made another video lol
Premiering Tuesday night.

I watched John's previous video on Rob. He released it near the apex of Rob's crashout, unfortunately. He had to leave out the most insane stuff, so I hope this one covers the hits.
Silent Rob goes on Dr. Phil to help with his midlife crisis meltdown
I have been anticipating another Rob documentary that will likely never happen. Back in December of 2024, a guy named Internet Sweetie now Internet Wizard released the most poignant video addressing Rob's crash out. This was framed like an episode of Dr.Phil, using AI Dr. Phil to narrate Internet Wizard's words with some jokes sprinkled in. To date, this is the best piece of Silent Rob media produced. IW perfectly captures the state of Rob's life during the crash out and makes an appeal to Rob's humanity from the pov of a longtime fan. No one knows who Internet Wizard is, but some have speculated it was Morshu aka No Date Gamers, a former troll & cartoonist that would commentate on youtubers from Rob's era. Internet Wizard, in classic Rob fashion, teased a part two of this Dr. Phil series, but it still hasn't been produced. I am hoping John Smith's video inspires other former fans to make more videos or join KF to share their stories.
