Context:
Rob suicide baited on a facebook post claiming he tried to die by gas inhalation in his garage, but the insulation was too bad so he couldn't die. Rob's sock accounts were exposed during this time. Rob had also threatened his fans from Face Destroyers United with doxing. He said he would kill anyone who showed up to his home and he openly doxed his own address multiple times, trying to bait someone to come over. He threatened to kill them with the ax he used in Death Date. He did this because he got caught making a fake threat against his "nephew" which turned out to be his stepson Jedite (wife's son). He initially accused Asalieri of making this poorly constructed photoshop and said he had a black hat hacker fan geolocate the origin of the photo to Arizona. This turned out to be a provable lie. Rob used his fake nephew narrative as a justification for threatening Asalieri's family and why he was producing AI CSAM of Asa's daughter. He openly admitted to these things. During peak crashout, Rob was checked into a suicide ward, where he continued to threaten his fans and Asa's family. He showed zero remorse, until Mutahar released a video documenting these events. Then he baited again

I See, it's just his usual attempts at humor. Back in 2006 he would've probably gotten a reaction with this, maybe. His humor didn't evolve in 20 years. Good thing most of his audience grew up.

I believe the original clip was from the "Cloudy With A Chance of Tism" drama vid if anyone has that archived. Although, he definitely mentioned you elsewhere.

He starts to talk about the Phoenix trip and how much the convention apparently sucked, how he loathed having to stay in a hotel room with David because apparently he had a bunch of people crowding up the room, and how your mom's cooking nearly killed him due to "spiciness" after he had to go stay at your house citing his diverticulitis and other stomach issues. LOL, have you seen what this fucker eats? Couldn't be from that, noooooo.

Sympathy for Rob goes down as your knowledge about him goes up. Anyone who is sympathetic has not paid attention. How can you have sympathy for the guy when he never stopped being a piece of shit?

Even if you could somehow feel sorry for Rob after his youtube crash out, there is no way you could feel sorry for him after his twitch antics. He has given us all the evidence in the world that he has not changed and he has no intention of changing. After the crash out he could have walked away, but he refused to. For the rest of the year he was running his mouth, leeching off his remaining fanboys, over sharing about his life, throwing pity parties, and refusing to give up being a content creator. How could anyone have sympathy for that?

This is my exact problem with John Smith's videos. His first documentary was called Silent Rob: The Creator Who Walked Away

Look at the thumbnail. It's Rob from 10 years ago. "Rob vs. YouTube", as if YouTube was the problem. Then implying that Rob WALKED away and didn't have a total fucking meltdown where he was blasted on drugs, scammed every last cent out of his remaining fans, flagged channels, orchestrated fake a swatting/threatened suicide, doxed fans, attacked an innocent child, killed a dog, etc. At no point did Rob WALK away from YouTube. He went out like the biggest bitch imaginable. And he still refuses to go away. He's Internet herpes at this point.

The same thing happened when those first subreddits were started about the situation. Rob says he's gonna neck for the 5th time and suddenly they get bleeding hearts despite everything he did leading up to that point and the fake-outs. Rob flaggoted them down anyway, haha. The irony. :lol:

It's a stark contrast to see him in streams. He's bloated as fuck. Lost most of his hair. He has this weird hunchback going on. He showed his rotten teeth in the fentmobile crash out videos. Early Rob had a bit of a holocaust survivor skinniness to him, but he looked leagues healthier. I know he's 40 something now, but he looks 50. He just sits on his ass in his dad's attic endlessly watching YouTube videos to drown out any possibility of self-reflection.

The Cache of Silent Rob's Deleted Channel

Rob may have deleted his FaceDestroyersInc. YouTube Channel, but the entire history of videos, including transcripts of his videos were preserved on Filmot.com. What's interesting about this data is you can see a collage of Rob's most used words, as well as the titles of past videos.

Note: Donations, dude and fucking were some of the most used words.

This will be useful in constructing the timeline and pointing what videos were lost.

If you recall, Rob moaned about how he was doxed and snapped at fans correcting him. Rob not only gave a full tour of his property, created @LoweofOhio to drop his address on Kiwi Farms, but he also uploaded a video with the title being his address.

This video is now lost to time, but I remember this was during peak crashout. Rob and Anni were tweaking in a Goodwill and Rob was antagonizing his commenters, begging them to come to his house. From December 2024 to February 2025, Rob was rapidly posting videos and quickly deleting them before they could be properly archived, but some may still exist. Some interesting video titles:

I love how he just never addressed the fact that he was begging for a gross three-way between him, Anni, and Harley as David outlined in his first video about the situation. Dude was trying to sniff out her truffle for years and had a complete fucking meltdown when she eventually told him to fuck off and blocked his ass.

And I love how "Fuckin trolls doxxed me!" turned into "I have an ax and a gun. Here's my full address. Come get me, fuckers!"
 
I just remember that it was really funny when he crashed out over people not wanting to give him 5 bucks to see his content back in the day.

Was Patreon before Patreon. The real problem with this was that there was not really any content to make it worth it. In true Rob fashion he was too lazy to pull it off.
 
Had he not crashed out, he could've milked his audience in numerous ways. I always thought he was going to go the AVGN route and do a limited press of a bluray/dvd of his old shit:

  • Since he loves AI so much, he could've upscaled his old videos and made them 60fps.
  • Market this as the "definitive way to watch old Rob content"
  • Maybe throw in some behind the scenes commentary
But instead his bright idea was to do an album/physical cd of AI music that no one wants to listen to. lol

Never understood creators putting their shit out on DVDs. Yeah let me pay to get a set of discs with videos I can see for free. Totally worth it. Imagine owning Silent Rob: The Complete Collection out on DVD. At least AVGN has some kind of production where Rob has none.

As we all know, Rob's laziness was always his biggest downfall. That and being totally scatter-brained about his interests. No consistency on either front.

And can we just admit now that the dude was never all that funny to begin with? His nasally delivery of random swear words might have been par for the course back in 2008, but looking at it through a different lens you can see the bitter jealousy and contempt for people who were doing even marginally better than he was. He never let those grudges go with Alpha being the top example. Just a whiny, bitter dork at the end of the day.

The way it's incorporated into the video seems like an accidental slip. Context wise, it had nothing to do with the video. Still funny to think Rob got what he wished for. Being included in Muta's videos.

I think Rob had trained Anni to chime in and greet Mutahar whenever he showed up on stream. I forgot the specific stream, but I remember Rob was doing his "money challenge" videos where he would perform some difficult task in a game for money. Some guy promised Rob a couple hundred dollars to beat an Elden Ring boss and after a few hours Rob beat it through sheer fent determination. Then the guy who bet him, disappeared. Rob streamed a few more times trying to get the guy to pay up and then threw a fit about it. If I recall, Mutahar showed up and blessed Rob with the money. Anyone remember that?
