I'm going to play devil's advocate here since everyone including myself likes simpleflips and this will just be a pat on the back thread otherwise. Nolan isn't just some guy defending his friend, he is an employee defending his meal ticket.

The timeline isn't too clear but the discord message she forced him to send is dated 05/18/2020 , a couple days later she announced that they were engaged?

Also depending on the timeline the job criticism isn't really fair, she has been working for simple. Given she knows how to code I'll assume it isn't a no-show job and she was actually developing the site

Speaking of Romhacking.com, she was posting there as staff running romhack competitions on behalf of simple as recently as the 31st of September. Wonder what happened to make her release whatever she released roughly two weeks later. I couldn't find her statement but if it was a google doc and she has just protected her twitter hopefully someone has the link in their browser history.

Fat fucking ogre with two beards gets his first gf he hasn't bought outside Lumbridge Castle, proceeds to live up to his name and simp. Insecure fat girl with possibly her first bf sees him become increasingly popular and start losing weight and becomes even more insecure, compounded by the fact she is a former fan. Starts worrying that he might pick a new fan as an upgrade. Just two insecure and inexperienced people in a relationship with the added pressure of e-fame.

You're absolutely right in your assessment, and without Leah's side of the story I'm heavily biased towards Simple, but unfortunately unless someone can follow her on twitter or however protected accounts work, we won't be able to get the full picture.

Leah is definitely a fat and ugly bitch, but you dudes are probably giving Simpleflips too much credit. The fact that he got involved with Leah and flirts with fans speaks volumes, but there's also things like how he was supporting BetterHelp and he even used to have Chibi as a twitch mod back in the day.

Leah seems controlling as hell from her own doc. Trying to control who their victim can talk to and reversing victim and offender are both classic abusive behavior. This feels exactly like the Vinny Vinesauce and Stryder7x situations where 2 somewhat poorly adjusted people dated and a jilted ex decided that it was "abusive" after the fact due to "power dynamics" despite everyone involved being an adult that can make their own decisions.

Hopefully this ends up more like the Vinesauce accusations where Simps uses the situation to restore his own happiness and sanity in the end. I like Simps. He's a legitimately entertaining guy who is also skilled at Mario Maker and Mario 64, while also helping push the envelope on ROM hacking a lot over the past few years.

Simpleflips just can't stay out of trouble. Barely over a year from the last twitter drama, he seems to have gotten himself into some new shit today. This time not only is it Loohhoo and Bre from the previous drama but now it's another person named Leanne.

(Just as a point of fact, Leanne seems to be trans but I didn't look into it too much.)

At this point Simpleflips seems to have taken notice, possibly either finding the tweet himself or someone telling him about it. Either way he published a twitlonger stating he didn't do anything to Leanne, Leanne was his abuser and reiterating what he said last year that Leah was his abuser too:

This is not an attempt to cancel anyone - honestly you guys should all support her. I don't hate her, but here are the facts.

I want to stress that the only reason I am tweeting this is because Leanne has blocked me months ago, and doesn't allow me to talk about anything privately. The only reason I feel I have to write this is because Leanne won't leave me alone, and has been emotionally torturing me for far too long. If you're wondering why I stream for 3 days with a ton of energy, and then end up disappearing for a week - it's because new developments keep happening. I wake up anxious every single day because of Leanne and enough is enough.

Leanne keeps tweeting that I am harassing her or doing these things behind her back, but I have been desperately trying to avoid her and this is my final plea for her to stop. Leanne keeps going out of her way to befriend tons of people close to me despite claiming they want nothing to do with me.

Me and Leanne broke up in mid July. I am not here to share all the secrets of the relationship because I cherish many of the memories, but to ask her to PLEASE leave me alone. I see no other option.

I broke up with Leanne because during our relationship she frequently questioned me about Leah and the document. Around the last 3 months of our relationship, any minor disagreement or argument Leanne would bring up Leah. Leah was my abuser and I was constantly defending *why* I did things in my past relationships and how I would be as a good person in the future. I insisted this boundary need to be respected and she refused to respect it. During Twitch Con EU, when Leah was brought up again, I told Leanne "I can't do this anymore" and broke up with her.

Desptie breaking up with her, I wanted to make the relationship work so went home to work on myself. Me and Leanne were civil for a while but she would only reach out to me to express her jealousies/concerns with whatever I was doing on socials. I was committed to her so I thought her jealousy was valid and fair, but I wasn't doing anything. After several post break up conversations of reassuring Leanne I only had eyes for her, she eventually reached out to me when I was at the grand canyon, said I was "filling a void" by making a bunch of new friends and blocked me.

I waited a month for her to apologize and then reached out to get closure. Instead of respond to me and having a conversation about it, she went to twitter and vague tweeted about me.

I want to say I have been trying to avoid Leanne every single day. Me and Leanne used to share around 10 servers on Discord and I have left almost all of them. I have made a tremendous effort to give Leanne space and I have gone out of my way to make new friends. I have entirely stopped going to livestreams that she goes to. This includes streams I used to go to, and streams that I found only after we broke up. Leanne will just join a Twitch Chat / Discord server I'm in and chat in front of everyone like everything is normal.

How has Leanne returned the favor?
If you look at Twitchfollowings.com you'll see that she has gone far out of her way to follow a lot of the same people I have since the breakup. I have resorted to watching some of my friends on an alt account because she never will show up if I'm not on the viewer list.

You can chalk a lot of it up to coincidence but here's how far she has gone: She has reached out and become friends with Leah, my abuser. The same reason I broke up with her. Okay, I'm not one to control who she hangs out with. She has also 10 days ago joined the discord of my irl friend I went to middle school with.

Because she is saying she is feeling ostracized by me: outside of my few friends, I have not been telling any other streamers about her so the fact that she's pretending I'm ostracizing her is wild. I've told like 3-4 people the circumstances and you are not entitled to being friends with all my friends.

Leanne I do not hate you. Leanne I loved the fuck out of you but I just want you to leave me alone. It's time to move on. We broke up in July and I want to move on. Please stop. Please just stop. Stop vague tweeting about me so our mutual think I'm an asshole. Stop privately getting close to all my friends. stop stalking me. Stop abusing me. Leave me alone. Let me live my life. Leave me alone.

And shit is going down on twitter as usual, with people slapfighting and blocking each other over who actually abused who and what not.

Honestly seems like a shitty situation all around but I'm disappointed that Simple got in to this trouble again. Seems it would be far better for him to have kept silent about Leanne's vaguetweeting rather than give people more ammunition against him. Or, y'know, don't date fans I guess.

I dunno I'm willing to believe Simp's crazy exes both abused him and are stalking him. He seems to be legitimately traumatized over Leah and based on what he and his friends said last year that's reasonable. A telltale sign that someone is making shit up is that they're constantly adding new layers to the story to make things seem worse or more dramatic, which Leah continues to do now and Leanne also appears to be doing.

Simpleflips needs to stop airing his dirty laundry in public. For fuck's sake I don't need to know about his sex life. Does he not see how weird it is to release a 30 page document detailing every facet of his relationship? I'm starting to see why Joel stopped collaborating with him.

I'm concerned he's going to go full cow and I don't want that to happen because I really like his content.

Speaking of his content, he's been absent lately. Nothing on discord, no streams, no uploads, not even to his clip channel, for over 2 weeks now. It could just be some holiday time away from it all but still.

Probably for the best, it worked for Vinny (Vinesauce).

Also I love how the bar for "abuse" is lowered every goddamn day. It's funny how people make fun of the "wife bad" boomers, who manage to have a solid and loving relationship for upwards of 30 years. Whilst these fuckers can't even go a few months without having to post every intimate detail of their relationship online just to spite the other for some petty sense of justice.

In the google doc (link) he said he might be out for a couple months or "a while", however long that is.
