The worst part about it that the “good artists” also get conditioned to drawing this kind of art because the same ones that draw what everyone else wants turned into a conveyor belt-like atmosphere where everything has to be supply and demand, and not organic by nature.

Drawing what you actually want has ironically become not just a bold statement, but it’s being hijacked by the same types that use use the “woke” ideology for business deals and profit.

Deep down, they know it does not sell to normal people that are not interested in it, but they can use those funds for layaway purposes and keep it on the shelf since no one will buy it, except for the ones that still think Twitter represents big businesses through this kind of marketing.

Overall, it’s really shallow at best and deceptive at worst. It goes to show that tools come in all sizes and forms.

Passion is not enough, you need clouts to sell arts and make a living (unless you work for large companies). The sad truth is that no one cares about their original characters, part of the reason why they always 'bastardize' famous characters into something that makes you no longer recognize the original version. It's like taking someone else's character and using it to express the artist's wishes, bonus attract a large audience who are mostly fans of that character. It's like hacking.

I had to look this up because, with five girls and the one guy, I thought Shadow High was meant to be a new collection of Bratz dolls and they they had changed the characters proportions in their entirely, but I was wrong. They seem just take pointers from them while also "attempting" (because they look rather uncanny) to make them look proportionate.

Regardless, the art is just ugly, because the artist in question is obviously going for those facial extremes Bratz dolls are easily-recognized for (which I guess fits with the "Extreme" part of this thread's title, because even then it seems to take the pre-existing extreme to an even greater extreme), but it's not really SJW, just Brazilians being Brazilians. It's interesting that those dolls are in black and white and yet can still make the designs look diverse tho'.​
