Things I’ve noticed that are recurring themes in SJW art:

-A lot of cookies/bakery themed stuff
-Hearts and glitter
-Art style that either resembles anime or Steven Universe
-Abuse of pronouns
-Masks and other covid related themes used to virtue signal
-Androgynous characters or thicc women who’s curves are over exaggerated
-Furries

There's an explanation for this one, and that's mostly because many pieces of fanart featured on this thread come from the Cookie Run community, which not only has a lot of character designs for people to get insanely-attached to but has a very, very flimsy English localization.

Cookies referred to as "Cookies", instead of any specific pronouns, in their Korean character descriptions basically means that they will be referred by they/them in the English localization no matter the character's appearance.

That in itself is enough of a reason for that one section of the Western community of players to be attracted into the games, and why they get so aggressive towards others when X or Y Cookie is "referred to with the wrong pronouns", as seen by the Wiki's comment section (in the Ovenbreak Wiki, IIRC, some Cookies don't have comment sections due to this).

This will also happen EVEN if the Cookie in question is referred to as male or female, because the moment more than one pronoun is used folks will get overly-attached to the idea that the pastry "ain't cis" and will not budget no matter what.

And that is just the peak of the iceberg when it comes to weird reasons as to why people get so fixated over these characters. The other is racial-profiling (because the kids game about running pieces of baked dough needed that, obviously). Before anyone asks, no, neither Ovenbreak nor Kingdom have any stories that focus on the flavor of the Cookies being a reason for discrimination, territories in this series (or at least in Kingdom) are just like countries where a flavor is dominant and that's it.

Just look into this thread and, not only you will see Cookies being portrayed as genderspecial, but also made black just because their dough is baked or because they're made out of chocolate. Actually, the Cookie doesn't even have to be black, just cookie-dough-beige will do; and you better put that eyedropper tool on your drawing software of choice to work, or you'll get into some serious drama for "drawing the Cookies too light".

TL;DR - Franchises with a wide variety of character designs and shitty English localizations are bound to attract insane people.​
