Black coding used to be about coily hairstyles and darker skin tones on non human characters, it also used to be intentional by the creators (like Garnet from Steven Universe is a good example)

"Flawed human portrayals of trans people"? Haha. The last thing any trans person wants is bad reputation. They want them to be "flawed" but in what way? Flawed as in regularly flawed who just so happens to be under the trans label? Flawed as in taking advantage of their label and slowly realizing that not everyone's going to fulfill their fantasies?

Flawed as in the bare minimum of character development and learning from their mistakes? By that point, why do they need to be a "flawed trans person" when they can just be a flawed human without the need to remind us that they're 0.1% of the population?

Is it them just learning to be more human? Less ""bigoted""? Do they learn that dudes who barely attempt at socially looking like a woman are just as valid or something? Do they have to accept that trans people can take advantage of biological women and lesbians for their own fantasies?

There's no clear answer on what they want. Why care if they're trans if their identity has no correlations to their flaws? At that point, it's not a "flawed trans person", it's just a "flawed person". So what this person asking is effectively redundant.
