I can barely tell who is supposed to be who...I'm pretty sure that's the "sun lesbian" flag on ol lumberjack there so I'm going to assume that's some reclamation of poor defenseless oversexualized Chica...making Fro on the right Springtrap? everyone is massive in either height or girth with huge hands so I'm going to assume they have a bara fetish.

Also fangs fetish-- Aren't the fangs ingame not real, your hallucinations? Mentioning which yesus christ the pink looks bad on Chica. Nobody on tumblr can use a palette maker? Or have eyes?
Generic tumblr ~floofy~ hair. Generic sausage fingers. Generic almond forearms because nobody on tumblr can look down apparently....and everyone has a bad case of RWFS. I just noticed Foxy's arms right now and... :horrifying:
This is a mess.
I hate to ask but are those chewy stim bracelets on Freddy and Foxy?
no, they're supposed to be pride bracelets iirc, they're one of the many ways Tumblr can shoehorn in that a character is gay alongside pride shirts, albeit it's a bit more subtle

My first assumption was pride-themed chewies actually,

...but I don't recall any pride flags that come in those colors.
It would be too optimistic to assume they're just normal tacky bracelets.

This isn’t too too bad (I mean, the drawing is bad skill wise, but you get my point), but the fact that they made Bismuth’s skin brown instead of blue while keeping Peridot’s skin green is so fucking odd to me
honestly, i believe they were making it grey and it looks that sickly brown due. to the filter/lighting. if they used the same blue as the armor for her skin it would look strange, i think.

Pink, blue and white is the trans flag. Not sure about the others though.
The pink and brown one is WOC (Sorry Asians, WOC means brown) lesbian, the green and pink is one of those gender queer identities.
The picture was an example, I meant on the FNAF drawing.

I just now noticed G. Freddy has one that conjugates his pronouns...

I just noticed a lot of artist on that thread use paint tool sai. Possibly pirated.

Sai is just simple and easier to use. It's also pretty easy considering pirates are just about leaked everywhere for people to use. So that, plus being new to digital art equals producing this kind of art at a faster rate than before.

You can use Sai for professional shit. It's entirely possible, but these artists ares still new to the program (most likely) and instead of trying everything they can test out with it, they just stick to one brush (the binary tool or pen tool is what I see most often), one texture, one particular color palette, a crappy overlay, and you got yourself a new artist who's gotten wayyy too comfortable wayyy too quickly.

As a said, you can make any art program work with the right amount of time and dedication, but these people obviously have trouble doing that.

Even if it's pirated, the price can be pretty affordable, though that depends on currency conversion, since it's the same flat price in JPY: I got mine back in 2009 for about $60, but today it goes for about $49-50.

Regardless, Paint Tool Sai is a pretty low bar for entry into digital art: more focused and intuitive towards drawing than, say, Photoshop (which was never intended to be a drawing program at the start, though Adobe has tried to cater to this audience in recent years, especially after they bought out the famous Kyle T. Webster brushes and made them free to CC subscribers); a much lighter memory foot print, and stupid simple to use. The fact it's also strictly Windows only makes it accessible to a large majority of people, too. And it's also what the 'cool uwu artists' use, so there's that peer pressure angle that makes some fledgling/would be artists believe that Sai will automatically make their art better. And it gives them something to laud over Mac users for once, as the developers have stated they will never make a Mac version for reasons they never disclosed.

On the other hand... when it goes on sale every couple of months, you can get Clip Studio Paint for $25. Which has a hell of a lot more stuff than Sai (including tons of free assets to download -incl. Sai knockoff brushes-, 3D modeling import capabilities, tools to create animations, etc), but at a far higher learning curve, especially if you're used to the simple af Sai interface. It's not as bad of a memory hog like Photoshop, but it can chug for really intensive pieces. Also, it's Windows and Mac compatible, so while some Mac-owning artists may gripe about not being able to use Sai, they don't realize they have something far better as a choice.

here’s a “how to draw xyz race, but i can’t draw white people because you all look the same” tutorial

it’s not a bad tutorial, but the comments about how white people all look the same was unnecessary. but i guess it’s ok to generalize a race because the yties

I know I'm 5 pages late, but I'm pretty sure most of those "asian cartoon stereotypes" comes from Japanese woodcut art. Made by actual Japanese people for centuries.

It used to be beauty ideal. Ukiyo-e woodcuts also inspired orientalism movement in Europe. People were positively fascinated by Japanese arts. It's not really Evil White People's stereotype.

Ukiyo-e became popular due to artists like Utamaro and Sharaku (the latter was hated for his style not being realistic). Both typically drew the same face over and over to make woodblock prints easier to create.

Japanese trends favored the beauty of simplicity. Current western trends try to force ugliness to be the new beauty.

i could agree with this. people took these elements and based their art on them ever since 19th century, so that's nothing new. sjw's are just jealous because southeast asian artists usually do better than them in terms on appeal.
