Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

You’re absolutely right about that, I’m speaking as someone who’s never actually done digital art, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

I just worry about the impact the explosion of digital art has on young artists, and the fact that many only really experience art in this somewhat narrow way.
It does baffle me that there is such a demand for line-stabilizing tools when you could simply... learn to control your lines better.

It's like every time I go to a stream and watch them struggle to get the line they want after 20-40-60 times drawing the same line over and over and over. I never realized how digital art could make it so tedious.

I haven't seen Erica Moen on here in a while. Her and her pet cuck's art are as saccharine as usual.

At least the content in this one is less Islamic than some of the other ones. But it can be made less degenerate by replacing the black lesbian chick with a cis het white dude with glasses.

Now this one, on the other hand...

On the one hand I get that the entire punchline is supposed to be that this player is being an asshole for boning the NPC while the rest of the party is being slaughtered.

But on the other hand it’s Erica Moen, who could very well believe that hijacking your friends’ D&D campaign to turn it into your own personal sexual role play is a perfectly valid and natural expression of sexuality and the other players are closed-minded slut shamers if they get pissed at you for doing so.

EDIT: One bit of this comic that could possibly be clever but is probably unintentional (I’m not familiar with Dakota so I don’t know how much they actually play D&D) but in terms of game play, 1 minute in-game is equal to 10 full rounds of combat. So yeah that player is a mega asshole.

I'd say doing your lineart traditionally is easier than doing it with a drawing tablet. (The non cintiq kinds) With a drawing tablet you have the disconect from the cursor being on you screen while you're making the strokes on your tablet. With traditional you are directly on your lines which makes it easier to do lineart in my opinion.

Plus tablets (especially the cheaper ones) can be a little irky when it comes to sensitivity.

That being said you shouldn't use the stabilizer as a crutch. Learn first how to do lineart traditionally.

:offtopic:Needing a stabilizer is usually more of a problem with the tablet itself. You can get much cheaper tablets with professional pressure sensitivity levels but theres always the issue of squiggly scribblies dealing with damaged pens, fucky drivers, or aging surfaces.

As far as the "disconnect" goes, it's not an issue for very long. Most people get used to it after a couple days. As far as I can see the only benefit to pen and paper is that it has better tactile sensation for those who need it, and doing the very basic sketching is easier if you don't always have a computer at hand. Also I guess less eye strain if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.:offtopic:

Anyways we're getting dangerously offtopics, lets get back to making fun of Murphy

I have no clue what the point of this is.

No one on Tumblr knows how to color black skin. Either it's sterotyping or ashy. Would have been cute if they just did them white and remove the trans badge from Natsuki.
I'm convinced people drawing black skin as ashy is one of the biggest tip-offs to someone only drawing black skin for brownie points. I've seen so many black people comment on ashy skin being a big sign that people didn't know what they were doing when it comes to making black skintones. It's embarrassing when the sams people drawing ashy motherfuckers pride themselves on inclusivity, because they're the ones who end up looking like they can't bother to Google how melanin works.

I think that only thing that digital art is better for (besides having undo button and flipping/rotating stuff) is how you can have even color fill with no splotches etc. But you can't have gold or glitter or whatever on digital, and learning to imitate is pain in the ass

I've seen very talented artists pull off a sense of incandescence in digital media, but it certainly is rare. The pixel art you posted is pretty good but :autism: the lining needs more refinement :autism:

So I was scrolling through Tumblr when I found this comic, sure it had a pretty neat (albeit stupid) premise but it eventually all goes to shit when the ending hits.

Read it for yourself:
http://destinytomoon.tumblr.com/post/178166583750/venusmacabre-i-want-to-watch-a-reverse-ugly

This yet again confirms that these ~SJW artists~ are nothing but insecure, immature and entitled (wo)manchildren who are terrified of pretty girls and want all women to be ugly, fat and insecure as they themselves are. :story:

PS: Nice homophobia too, artist. Lesbians are still stereotyped as ugly bitches who turn to women because they are too unattractive to get men to like them, so why TF would you want to perpetuate that stereotype while claiming to be ~progressive~?
Also the "ugly girl" isn't ugly at fucking all. Just a bit tomboyish and with bad but not too terrible skin. If that's their idea of ugly, then LOL.

"I can finally use my bracelet" what was stopping you before?
The moral is that lesbians can't take care of themselves and look good, i guess.

And that a non-straight woman must lower her expectations and standards whenever another woman asks her out.

"Look, I may not be pretty or charming enough for you, but at least I'm not a shallow MAN. Date me, NOW!"

One of the most common horror stories people have about playing role playing games is people trying to role playing sex scenes with them. There isn't a theme of it just happening to women, men say it happens with another man in the group, woman say it happens with another woman, and men say it happens with a woman forcing it on them. Sorry for sounding like a SJW, but turning a common issue that is deeply uncomfortable and creepy into a sexy lesbienne sexual awaking is so gross and so typical Moen.

It’s also why I suspect that this Dakota artist doesn’t play the game and just latched onto it due to it being the newest “in” nerd thing on the internet. Framing the punchline as being “Oh you rapscallion!”/“Ain’t I a stinker?” is extremely tone deaf from the perspective of a player, who would much rather see these kinds of assholes punched in the face or hope the DM kills their character. Hell, from the perspective of someone just looking for lesbian scissoring they probably aren’t going to be interested in the D&D parts, so I’m not even sure who this is supposed to appeal to.

I can totally see Moen being this exact kind of player in this comic. I remember Moen being on some YouTube game show for comic artists and the bitch just couldn’t wait to tell people about her asshole and shit. I can’t imagine having to deal with her in the context of a cooperative game - if she didn’t get kicked out before she even finished listing off her character’s kink list at least.
