Eh, aside from the inaccurate depiction of dark skin, the art looks fine. It's cute anime gothic lolita-ish style, different from the large sickly noses and ugly proportions SJW art typically has.

That being said, SJW artists do love drawing with dark skin (black is their favorite) and when they do, they end up making it look ashy.

EDIT: I wasn't reading it correctly, my bad. Would have been nice to see the originals before they were colored.

Can anyone give some examples of artists not asking for their art to be stolen and have their skin recolored? How common is it for artists to prohibit people from blackwashing their art?

I thought Tumblr "didn't like" Mogeko because, uh... Child molestation or assault of female characters in their games? But it's fine now they're all ambiguously brown.

Ah my bad I forgot to add a comma there. The original artist never prohibited blackwashing their art specifically but it should go without saying anyway since they don't allow reposts without permission in the first place

It's okay to be a 'fan' of Mogeko as long as you trash every problematic thing they've done and completely alter their characters to fit some arbitrary headcanons you have. At least, that's my experience with the fandom.

Why the tumblr fandom loves to draw Wigfrid (the valkyrie one) as a fat dwarf? Dont Starve doesnt give different proportions but it shouldn't be hard to guess how they would be. Wigfrid is the warrior of the team and she is an adult, so she should obviously be the second mostly physically fit and have average+ height.

It's not very sjw like most stuff here but it still not being fully honest to what the character is supposed to be.

I think they just think any Norse mythology based character is automatically a dwarf

I also noticed they often give Wes darker skin despite the fact that he's from early 1900s france
