Tbh, the don't Don't fandom isn't that bad, I have to dig for the "good" stuff, but it might be because the DS fandom is low-key kinda dead

Also, knowing Tumblr and the sjw side of the ds fandom they probably made Wes trans

Lol, it wouldn’t be possible: this artist was already “featured” in this thread and in other threads, this version of Craig was also posted in this thread. It would be really easy to guess because of this, and also because of Clyde’s jacket (or maybe thats just me...)

this is the kind of “representation” that i’d consider good. so what it’s humanized wall-e and eva? consider that they could’ve made wall-e a fat troon with vitiligo carrying around stim toys, but instead chose to make wall-e an average, if not cute, girl. also, i could instantly recognize the characters.


i mean this is honestly generic kawaii anime girl humanization number 1274738293. although not as bad as the oftentimes offensive vitiligo caracatures that tumblrites create, these designs are all exactly the same and are overdone.
i might be biased just because i really hate this art style and method of designing characters. slap some identifying clothing and change the hairstyle/eye color of one anime girl and bam! new humanization.
i’m sure a lot of tumblrinas see this problem as well and try to counteract it by making their humanizations as ugly as possible because they lack the skill required to draw multiple distinct and unique, yet still attractive characters.

so really we’re stuck between generic moe shit or generic sjw shit. at least the sjw shit is fun to laugh at, though.

I agree. At least with being okay with Eva's human design. (I don't like that Wall-e is female) I always get a "okay so you're just fucking racist, right?" vibe when someone makes a human design for a previously not even human character, that happens to not be white, and it generates groans. It's a robot with no real indicators of what their human version might look like, not even a voice, not really. Not even vague hints to culture can be used to hash out a race. I can't help but raise an eye brow at complaints since this isn't brown washing...because the damn robot had no skin to begin with. Be honest. If those Eva and Wall-e designs had white skin would that image be in this thread?

So what we end up with is exactly what SJWs do. Just from the other side.

About the anime humanizatioin of Eva that someone brought up...I mean the only cool thing about it is the floating disconnected limbs. Other than that it is generic as fuck. The jacket is big and fluffy and would be a pain in the ass to animate. Imagine this skinny anime girl/boy moving as gracefully as Eva with that stupid jacket. I can't imagine that.

So I'd probably give black-humanization cool floating arms and legs and it would look that much better.

So in the TMNT universe, there is a character who so far only exists in the comics. Her name is Shadow Jones. She is the adopted daughter of Casey Jones and April O'Neil. The turtles are basically her uncles and master Splinter trained her in the art of ninjutsu. In some iterations she becomes a full fledged ninja.

So I came across a fan redesign of this character where Shadow was trained by the foot clan and her weapon of choice is a baseball bat.


From the fan redesign's bio:
Weapon of choice: baseball bat. Sport of choice: baseball.
While she has received some informal martial arts training from the turtles, most of her training in that respect has come from the Foot Clan.

Also I hate when Tumblr makes this character thingies and they have all the diversity points (woc, weird sexualities), but the personality sounds vague as fuck.

Guess the character! It’s probably easy. I cut the image because otherwise it would be really easy to guess (even tho it took me 5 minutes to guess who this is, even with the full image)

Also them: draws themself super feminine (and I mean body wise, not just clothing wise)

Like I know Non-binary is kind of a weird one but don't Non-binary people try to be androgynous?
