I have no qualms with artists copying other works but they have to understand why the elements in said work, works. Afterall originality lies in the execution and not the concept, that's why Squid Game and The Platform are ever so different despite having the same message and criticism about social hierarchy and the high-class.
Identity Politics is the worst kind of politics to dabble into. It slowly chips away everything good and then leave this rotting carcass of delusion, stagnation, and self-entitlement. 1,566 characters fucker is just another victim of it.

The poor person barely understands English, there is probably not many japanese sources for that and translations can be wonky. Leave them alone.

I always feel bad whenever a Japanese artist who started out as a Spooky Month fanartist moves into the Madness Combat community and sees all the lunacy that keeps festering there as a result of all the English-speaking Friday Night Funkin' refugees, they just don't know what they're getting themselves into. Pretty sure the release of Project NEXUS is also behind this sort of phenomenon.
Both communities are vastly different in spite of sharing that game and its modding scene. For example, SrPelo himself is very open about interacting with Asian artists to the point of trying to learn their languages because of how much they interact with his work; while MC's community is just a different degree of autistic altogether because of all the shit Krinkels says in CuriousCat and livestreams that NEVER get properly archived (for example, just look at the FNF Wiki's page on Hank and its Trivia section, you will not find proof outside of "dude trust me", not even a screenshot).
PS: No idea what that @ENOKIP user is talking about, most MC characters are canonically clones and artificially produced as fodder (in the case of the basic Grunts) or as bio-weapons. Unless I'm missing out on something because this is not a community I look into, that doesn't mean they're family, my dude. Not even the Wiki implies it.

Why does 99% of SJW art all look the same? It's either softly rounded young people in pastel colours being gay or blocky stylized persons (akin to modern internet corporate art) doing something vaguely political.

@Chrom I actually liked the Sk8 FnF Concept. They are in style of actual anime's commercial breaks. But sadly Reki is black (not tamned, Just OP got full negro). Just a protip for boxpuppet/anyone who would make a Sk8 FNF mod: make Reki canon-like, don't blackwash him, just throw away your personal headcanons in project for bigger audience (people will ask about that and wouldn't like that)

Combination of artistic inbreeding and algorithm chasing.
Places like Twitter and Instagram being how they are favor the kind of users that can churn out a ton of shit in a short period of time, so artists on those sites start prioritizing being fast over being good - well defined body shapes with smooth line art and crisp coloring takes time yo. Those same places also put a lot of emphasis on trends and popular hashtags, so there’s additional incentive to make a bunch of shit that’s popular or are perpetuated by endless internet slap fighting - so you get a lot of fanart of mainstream nerd stuff with the latest trendy hot button topics awkwardly stapled on top of them. Then young artists and parasitic clout chasers start seeing that kind of art in their timelines - some of it even made by people who boast that they work at one of the major animation studios - and see that it’s gets a bunch of attention, start copying that same kind of art, making more of the same and ensuring it continues to trend.
Repeat this a whole lot and that’s how you get a ton of shitty interchangeable Twitter/Insta art and why a bunch of animated productions lately look like ass.
