Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

Y'know, for a comic about a dog and a boy(and being a soulless rip off of Calvin and Hobbes), the dog barely feels like a character or is even there most of the time (skimmed through it a bit before making this post)...

Why is most of the political talk coming from the kids? I really don't see any kid being this invested in stuff like this unless some adult brought it up to them constantly or they want to use it to be edgy or funny. Speaking of kids, who is this aimed for exactly? They censor the word fuck but not faggot and have the son in one comic strip put balloons on his chest:
As for the art, it looked better from around 2015-2016 cuz afterward it just looked like some art you'd see in like a kid's text book or some shit.

"You should support people for the sole purpose of benefiting yourself!"
The way the author draws kids in such situations like this makes me think he may have some skeletons in the closet, like who the hell writes about a tranny telling raunchy jokes to a young child so casually? Next you're going to tell me that the son is this universe's Desmond is Amazing :cryblood:

Me thinks that SJW femicommie types have a secret rape/abuse/violent death fetish, but are in denial about it. They don't want to admit they secretly fantasize about hot guys both fucking them and fucking them up at the same time. Yet these are the same types that cry foul over books like Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey.

Oh the dark and twisted hypocrisy indeed.
Tumblr was full of SJW's.

Tumblr was also full of hardcore BDSM pornography, much of it orientated around rape, torture, and simulated snuff.

Oh, and let's not forget the fandoms devoted to Killing Stalking, Hannibal, and other violent and depraved male characters.

I'm not saying that SJW's are desperate for a strong, violent male to "put them in their place," but you generally don't have such diverse communities on the same site without some user overlap.

I don't get the entire 'hating a character for being too pretty' thing in these art communities (writing is a different story, since ten paragraphs about icy blue eyes and huge boobs gets dull fast). Just because you aren't particularly attractive doesn't mean you need to go in a mouth-frothing rage at any doodle that doesn't have pimples or is under 300 pounds. If I wanted to see ugly I'd just look in the mirror.

Some pretty characters have dull designs, and I get critiquing that. Most pretty characters that become popular have more than just 'pretty' going for them. But there are other ways to make a design interesting through things like pose, colour theory, style, et cetera that doesn't include ugly-ing them up. If anything, I've noticed that a lot of these ugly characters have almost the exact same design.

Usually its people wanting to go against "beauty standards" and making characters "realistic" or the classic just shoehorned representation. Its just virtue signaling and insecure people, because uglifying characters (canon or OC's) it's way easier and gets clout faster than actually been good at art.

EDIT; random thought I had as a dumb side note: but these people always say how fragile cis people are. Yet they always pretty much brag about how the simplest of task or human interactions give them panic attacks, or how they throw a tantrum for been "misgendered" even if it was by accident.

The thing is you can make ugly characters appealing to look at. Even incredibly ugly ones.

Example:

Ugliest motherfucker probably in Disney history, yet he's pleasant to look at. He has kind eyes and his design flows very well. In fact 99% of background and secondary Disney characters are what you would consider just average to below average looking people, however no one complains about their designs. It's because they are fundamentally pleasant to look at through exaggeration of shape and form, being dynamic and colorful, etc. They are all incredibly diverse as well in body types.

And you're right, SJWs just tack on pimples, hair, and stretch marks everywhere and call it a day. Bonus points if you can make the character as lumpy as possible. It also isnt very diverse and interesting to look at, since they tend to use very neutral and similar color palettes for each of their characters, with typically almost the exact same shapes for the body. Their idea of diversity is "telling" instead of showing, such as with pride stickers and buttons on everything, and some vague shades of brown.

Agreed. I didn't mean to make it sound like ugly characters can't be done right, but there's ugly characters and then there's Tumblr 'ugly characters' like you just outlined. I just meant that I don't get the rabid rage the SJW crowd feels at any character that meets conventional beauty standards.

Yeah I don't get it either. Guessing just a mix of virtue signalling and sticking it to Susie from high school who was pretty AND nice, so everyone liked her. The thing is though, all of their favorite characters seem to be the most attractive ones. A recent example I can think of is from Disney's Encanto. They absolutely adore the two most conventionally attractive characters who have barely 2 full lines in the entire movie. Meanwhile the uglier ones with the unique body shapes and actual dialogue are mostly ignored. (Apparently the actual children love them though, causing a shortage of their action figures and dolls ironically enough.)

That's because you guys are trying to use logic and common sense, and the people doing this shit are using neither.

The people doing this shit don't care about authorial intent (I.E. what they were trying to do with their characters), they don't care about consistency in their arguments, they don't care about context, character motivations, or how a character helps inform the worldbuilding. They will make endless exceptions and double-standards for any character they personally enjoy, even if that character violates every single one of the rules they establish for literally everyone else and then some, while excoriating other characters for going against any one of their token, arbitrary rules they set down.

One of my favorite examples of this shit is one of @Yaoi Huntress Earth's favorite idiots, the moron behind Bikini Armor Battle Damage. She has this personal fucking ladyboner for Sayaka Miki that's frankly hilarious in that she will go to any extent to excuse this character of every single offense that every single other character she bitches about of - an absurdly impractical outfit for what she does? Check. Slender and conventionally attractive? Check. Heterosexual? Big check, she becomes a magical girl because there's a boy she wants to fuck. Yet she absolutely prop-shreds other characters for daring to have at least one of these traits, let alone all of them.

While all of them have their motivations for doing this, there's a clear line of connection between the fuckers on Tumblr uglifying every attractive thing they come across, and the fuckers that IRL sperg the fuck out about any advertisement that features conventionally attractive women; they're often very much the same people. They're also the ones who will, Vade-style, ignore the plot, gameplay, underlying character motives, and personality of a character in a game to go: "UwU, this character is so X." Draw your own conclusions from that.

What’s up with trans “men’s” obsession with flashing their tiddies ? Do they really wanna scream that they are women with issues or there is a lore that I missed?
At this point I imagine its mostly for fetish reasons disguised as "representation uWu" I feel the whole SJW stuff awaked new fetishes in people but since sexualizing things is bad it has to be hidden behind in plain sight, whatever they are conscious of it or not
I'm sure someone with actual dysphoria would do ANYTHING to avoid showing their chest as much as possible, at least pre-surgery. Same with their boobs getting touch like in some Katetorias' art.

Yeah it's kinda like reverse futa I think, except people who whack it to futas are at least honest.
