do these people actually watch the shows they autistically obsess over

I feel like a lot of this stems from villains/bad characters in most media nowadays having sad backstories/arcs dealing with how they were just misunderstood etc. Like how every slasher now needs to have had a bad childhood or something as a reason instead of just...being a homicidal psychopath/probably actually a demon. lot of the younger generation just can't seem to grasp that evil can be, well, evil, with no redemption or secret good side to be found. There literally is an entire episode's plot dedicated to South Park Elementary's social pecking order and how the only reason Cartman is not at the very bottom is because he picks on Pip just like everybody else does (something Damien, another character in that post, ends up taking advantage of in order to stop being picked on and get invited to Cartman's birthday party), so that's the long way of saying "no, they don't". No amount of AU shit is ever going to make Cartman a good person because he is NOT meant to be.

Okay, I don't get this one. Is it a redraw of someone else's/her own art?

May also stem from a thing that was going on on Tumblr called "reclaiming"I feel like a lot of this stems from villains/bad characters in most media nowadays having sad backstories/arcs dealing with how they were just misunderstood etc. Like how every slasher now needs to have had a bad childhood or something as a reason instead of just...being a homicidal psychopath/probably actually a demon. lot of the younger generation just can't seem to grasp that evil can be, well, evil, with no redemption or secret good side to be found.
They also can't understand if someone is NOT on evil or good. Grey does not exist, nor does someone that flat out can't be in the morality scale at all, because his views are too alien/too weird to place by human standards. While gods are a common easy example, I would list a different one.I feel like a lot of this stems from villains/bad characters in most media nowadays having sad backstories/arcs dealing with how they were just misunderstood etc. Like how every slasher now needs to have had a bad childhood or something as a reason instead of just...being a homicidal psychopath/probably actually a demon. lot of the younger generation just can't seem to grasp that evil can be, well, evil, with no redemption or secret good side to be found.
Nowadays, people would put that under 'evil' just because he supports death, no matter the context.IMMORTALITY IS ONLY A WORD. ALL THAT EXISTS CAN DIE. EVERY LIVING THING HAS A WEAPON AGAINST WHICH IT HAS NO DEFENSE. TIME. DISEASE. IRON. GUILT.
