I had to look back and foward between these two pictures trying to see the resemblance. I just don't get why people think that making an ALREADY DESIGNED CHARACTER uglier is a good thing. I have an example too:

I guess there was an episode where Marco crossdressed, to save Star? I don't watch the show, but didn't he hate doing it? The artist draws him as trans. Also, Jackie is a tanned white girl, from what I've seen, but people tend to overtan her.

Making a Japanese person ambiguously black is very progressive.

Honestly saw the top half of Akira's head while it was loading, thought "wow, that looks like Akira" and then figured it was a coincidence and just someone's OCs when the picture fully loaded. God, these are jarring.

I think this one is alright. The anatomy is pleasing and not jarring like the other two and the colors are simple, but nice. If the artist stuck to drawing people like this instead of that weird-ass thing on the right I'm sure their stuff would look a lot better.

I could see Wordgirl having a bit of an athletic figure when she gets older; being a hero and all. But there should be some femininity.

I'll be honest, Wonder Woman doesn't look half bad. Then you see Batman and Superman...Why make them skinny or short and chunky looking when they're both supposed to be very build and muscular from all that crime fighting?

This is really well-drawn in my opinion, but Utena? I wouldn't have recognised that if it wasn't for the hair. It's always sad to see people with actual art skill sink so deep into SJW-territory. The characters look nothing like who they're supposed to be. Makes me sad.
