Anyway, here is a really weird comic i found on Tumblr, about a trans artist who thought he was going in a date with a woman but she had a boyfriend, so he cried alone.

Moral of the story: CIS MEN ARE THE DEVIL! Not only because they steal my women but steal my cosplay!

(And of course it just had to be a hero academia cosplay why tumblr whyyyyy)

This legit made me confuse...is this some sarcastic remark to those cis men hater tumblrinas or the author itself actually hates cis men....

From what I've seen of the author's work (who is a transmale), this is about him being jealous of CIS men in this comic.

I enjoy Ladybug and like it quite a bit, but I've gotta admit that the writing is pretty damn awful at points, especially when it comes to the super cliche rich blonde mean girl stereotype.
The 3D animation is incredible for a TV show, and I quite like the Cat Noir/Adrien and Ladybug /Marionette love square thing, but it's honestly not a super great show writing wise. It is fun to watch, though, and the artstyle is cute, so I'll give it that.

Don't worry about that though because that stereotype is about to be upped to hero status in the next season so it looks like they're at least going to try to break it.

The sad thing is that SU has had the potential to appeal to kids, it just seems that every time the opportunity arises the crew deliberately chooses the execution that is least likely to.

Take that episode Kiki's Pizza Delivery Service: the basic premise - going into someone's dreams to fight nightmares- is one that has been done in kids' shows before with success. It opens the door for a lot of action and creative imagery that would grab a kid's attention. But what did SU focus on instead? Talking about sister issues in the real world, with the actual dream stuff only being a small fraction of the episode content. Of course kids are gonna be turned off by the show, all the elements that would've drawn them in have been relegated far off on the sidelines in favor of fanfiction-esque hurt/comfort bullshit.

And as someone said it before, Ponies did it better. At least in that, part of the moral was why it's important to FORGIVE YOURSELF and move on. Even if it's hard it's something you have to do and even if you don't think so, there will be support somewhere. I actually commend shows that show characters who have wronged actually STEP IT UP and GIT GUD. We could see why Luna was so upset with herself and why she didn't think it was possible to move on and the story showed the message while displaying some actually fun visuals, again moving from point A to B.

SU seems to linger and constantly restate what the lesson of the episode is supposed to be while not acting on it or if they do, they do it in such a hamfisted way and with characters who instantly return to their shit status. Case in point, all the episodes where Amethyst has a personal crisises. The thing that irks me so much about this character is that is a quintessential example of a character made with the expectations that you'll instantly sympathize with them because of some sad backstory but in the present there a massive asshole, and not a lovable one. Amethyst PURPOSELY fucks with people which she (and people like her) sees as being edgy when she gets a reaction from the people who fucks with on purpose. This is why I don't feel sorry for her or any of those moments where her actions come back because she doesn't stop. I remember one of the episodes where Peridot begins telling jokes about the others and Amethyst thinks its HYSTERICAL when Peridot goes on about the other gems but when she makes fun of her, suddenly those jokes go too far despite Peridot giving her the exact same treatment as the others. Tumblrfucks act like that all the time; insulting other people for WHO THEY ARE but the moment you call them out and remind them they're on the same level suddenly it's a crisis and 'you can't do that' because SPECIAL. Of all the character in this show, Amethyst is the most Tumblr because she is presented as someone who hides behind their 'status' (a misfit) and you should just IGNORE her shitty behavior even when she's insulting you or doing something else that causes a massive problem. I thought they were just going to stop when they let Amethyst 'be herself' during the wrestling episode but naaaaah. 'Herself' is just a shitty person.

Am I the only one who has this crackpot theory that Pearl is Sugar's self insert character? I dunno, the whole plot thread about Peral losing Rose to a maaaan just seems like something an SJW would have happen to them IRL and then use their show to bitch about it.
Plus, Peral's original design just reminds me a lot of the basic creative hipster show runner aesthetic, especially the hair.
I dunno, it's a bit of a stretch of a theory, but it's a thought I found kinda funny to entertain, especially when thinking about other stuff Pearl's done.

Nah, I don't really get that feeling. Sugar promised that Pearl would be this super awesome ninja type of deal with the heart of a princess/ballirina but I actually forgot nearly EVERYTHING that was supposed to make Pearl graceful/nerdy since they keep reminding us she's thirsty for Rose. Remember that room of swords she had? Feels like it's all gone to the wayside in order to have her fuck with someone now.
