Tumblr's incestuous circlejerk really is a weird thing to explore, isn't it.

I know its very late, but i never found who is the true owner of this classic atrocity. Was it Sukebanana before they fell into jojo and chose more garish colors to bastardize the characters? I remember looking through their blog trying to find it and just having varying levels of suicidal feelings.

Last I checked her last major project was working as a storyboard artist for Wander Over Yonder and a Marvel Runaways soft reboot that no one liked or remembers, but after those got cancelled she's been sort of meandering.

Nimona is getting adapted into an animated feature and will be released in 2020. She's also the executive producer for the new She-Ra reboot on Netflix. I'm not a fan of her writing or art so I have mixed feelings about both projects.

I know that people who "headcanon"/change characters into something complete divorced from the source material refuse to make them into OCs cause "no-one would look at them/like them".

But have they considered that actual people in entertaiment do just that sometimes , and characters end doing just fine, ever overshadowing their prototypes sometimes?
