this post is a bit off-topic, social justice is now a subject in middle schools nowadays. it just mostly teaches kids about how to become activists and plaguing their minds with left-wing politics, which is very absurd to be honest. i’m not sure if i already said this in a reddit post once, but you shouldn’t let your kids get exposed to politics and/or become one of the social justice warriors.

I wouldn't be that melodramatic about it. There are schools with biases toward the right, too.

But I do honestly think it's a problem, regardless of political affiliation. Unless it's something highly concrete like historical fact, politics should be avoided in public schools as much as possible. Anything subjective like guns, socialized health care, or abortion should probably be saved for a college setting.

The fact of the matter is that gay rights and trans rights are being falsely conflated, despite the fact that the former is more researched and therefor easier to define. We can be reasonably certain that being gay isn't a choice scientifically, so it makes sense to view it that way politically. However, there isn't a consensus on many issues pertaining to trans people, which makes it far more subjective. Certainly too subjective to talk about in public school.

This is very true. If you bring up anything relating to rape or incest, even as a joke, tumblrinas will get triggered and claim to be victims of rape/abuse. Funny how many people in SJW circles are rape victims. It's a very high percentage. Not nearly as many people outside of SJW circles are rape victims. Huh....
But I'm sure they're all totally legit and not lying using their supposed past abuse to shut people down. After all you can't question the validity of people who claim to be raped. That's racist.
