Found this on my explore page recently. I really hope this person is a young teenager because this art is horrendous.

I was so horrified by this art that I just searched the artist’s instagram and browsed through it - and guess what? They’re making a South Park fancomic! Now, if you thought their anatomy/faces were shitty... You have to take a look at the comic.
I thought it was a young adult but now I think it’s a young teenager that’s focusing less on making their general art (from anatomy and people to scenary and objects) better, instead stylizing it to the point it looks like tard cum. Let’s take a look, along with commentary from yours truly.

Notice the “great” details on the bottles, the scribbles that are OBVIOUSLY the scenery and that weird retangle on the cente.. Oh, it’s a hat.

Random tumblrina cashier, nothing special. Also notice the huge ass nose and professional coloring (Probably a stylic choice but a shitty one nevertheless)

The dialogue is great too. You think that dude thought the cashier said “pepsi”, but he’s actually talking about Butters requesting Pepsi. Maybe I’m just retarded or something, idk.

I actually kind of like this expression, but you can notice that it has Tumblr written all over it.

1, “great” dialogue, you can really see how she’s scared!!, 2, that’s actually the cashier’s body.. Look at her stomach, what are those scribbles?

Is he kissing the comic’s template? Is he trying to bite it? I’m seriously concerned.

I’m both confused and motivated to see that this comic is that shitty but has 97 likes on its first page. You can do anything you want if blatantly bad art gets that amount of likes (the art on the original instagram has 200 on an average post).

I really don't care what cranks their shaft. Sure, go ahead. Write your reams and reams and reams of bad gay fanfiction. But the overuse of the BnHA fandom taking away the one thing that makes the setting interesting (that 80% of the population of the World has some kind of super power) and just right sappy, syrupy dreck.

I'd also say that they can do all their big gay art, too, as long as it was on model, but that's too much to ask.

Insulin pump I would guess. The older models look like beeper you attach from the pump on your stomach to your belt, newer ones are wireless and are controlled with an app on your phone. Using an old model insulin pump makes them more visibly disabled, just like why they draw giant, nasty mastectomy scars.

edit: you can ask a lot of type 1 diabetics who went to school when insulin pumps were still wired and people used beepers how a teacher (teachers) tried to yank it out of their body because the teacher thought it was phone/beeper.

As a woman with health issues, (PCOS,) I don’t find any of this art charming. It’s obnoxious pandering. It’s okay if you don’t like being overweight or having stretch marks. You shouldn’t have to love every part of your body.

The colours are nice and striking, but aside from that it looks like it's straight out of the worst issue of Squirrel Girl. This is embarassing to the industry and should inspire precisely zero people to become comic artists, unless they want to ensure there won't ever be more bullshit like this covering classics.

The author of Sword Art Online already has stated that he started to accept the criticism and complains of the overseas fans and that he will change his future works to appeal to them. We are not too far from seeing this happening to other popular writers/mangakas.

Not saying that his writing shouldn't improve, because even himself admitted that he sucks in the past, but this is surely the wrong way to do it in my opinion. You shouldn't try to appeal to people who are not your fans.

I’ve heard some speculation around the web that his stance on political correctness was either something lost in translation (given the cultural differences), or that he was just telling them what they wanted to hear in terms of publicity. I could be wrong on both, but then again, ANN isn’t really the best of sources for opinions and politics in anime- especially when fellow cow Hope wrote a conspiracy theory about Darling in the FranXX being “right wing propaganda”. While somewhat plausible, I’d take the author’s claims with a grain of salt for now.

The colours are nice and striking, but aside from that it looks like it's straight out of the worst issue of Squirrel Girl. This is embarassing to the industry and should inspire precisely zero people to become comic artists, unless they want to ensure there won't ever be more bullshit like this covering classics.

It looked so good until I zoomed into their faces. They do look like Squirrel Girl. Why would such a bad comic inspire you?
