Also, pride flags are inherently fucking cringe. If you need a giant set of colors to say "I LIKE THE SAME SEX AND I'M NEITHER A MAN NOR A WOMAN" Then you're an attention whore. What is it with the consistent off-animated look to all of this "art?" All of the examples I jave seen are the same look as though the only reference these people ever had were saturday morning cartoons and Doonesbury. It might have been interesting mid-2000's but at this point this drawing style is grating if only for the sheer volume of shit produced in this precise style. Is that just the lowest effort thing to spit out of a drawing tablet?

Obviously the right one. But you missed my point. Both of these things are up for mocking. You can disagree with me and say that the left shouldn't be mocked or we shouldn't make fun of pride flags. Or that they're not worth making fun of. That's fine.

But to me, I think they're both exceptional.

Both of them are expectional also if you have to put pride flags on characters who even if they are lgbt (which most of the time it just some head cannon bullshit) it still expectional just on bases it that it just slapping a character with a flag behind them its no different than just have "insert character here say ___ rights" meme.

I never did say that they shouldn't be mocked. They absolutely can be because they are exceptional. To me, it's repetitive when it's just a picture of a character from the source material slapped onto some nonsense flag and nothing else. There was that one pride flag set someone had posted recently with even more ridiculous edits and ree-ing that truscum/terfs/whatever can't touch their post that they put online to be looked at.

I agree but I think unless you're making a super established character somethign they're not as a weird projection thing, the issue people are taking is that there's some people in this thread who will just JUMP on anything that has a pride flag on it even if it's sort of weak content, or even if it's pretty harmless (and not disrupting a pre existing character) like the small headed animal plush things.

I’d like to add my two cents to this whole thing: Personally I think if you’re gonna rag on LGBT headcanons, there’s gotta be a catch to it. Give us a reason to laugh (or gawk) at it beyond lazy headcanons. There were some trans lesbian Zim edits further back in this thread that were fucking bizarre, can we get more shit like that in this thread? Posts like that are way more entertaining than “this character was drawn brown BUT THEY’RE NOT BLACK” or “this character was drawn with a binder BUT THEY’RE NOT TRANS.” We get it, off-model/out-of-character fanart triggers your ‘tism, no need to point it out in this thread every time it happens.
Honestly it almost feels like the people who post those things are doing it because they want their anger validated, as if anyone but the most egregious of spergs would engage in complaining about literally every instance of a pride flag in fanart for shit only fellow spergs care about.
