I think there’s a difference between a character being ugly and a design being ugly. Artists can depict an ugly character but but still have it be an aesthetically balanced design. Most monster/creature and villain designs abide by this philosophy.

Most Tumblr/Twitter redesigns however are just ugly because the fundamentals of art are for shitlords.

These types who think that what they do is ok because "be gay do crimes" and "we're fighting against the establishment!" are always the ones who think everything should be free and that not giving compensation to the labor expended in making the products they buy is OK because "fuck capitalism".

Plus, Blick has one of the best rewards systems any store can have: all you do is sign up on a database for free and you get a wholesale discount on nearly every item in the store. This woman should have the Patreon dollars to utilize this.

Good luck getting a respectable design job with a website like that and art. Any design house will laugh her 'portfolio' out of the building before binning it. Trust me. I've had art directors literally drop CVs of bad artists into the trash and not call them back.

It's so many bad design choices in one place and the fact that it's supposed to be a girl makes it worse because it just looks like a basement dwelling autogynephile with those fucking little ponytails It's just not a good character design if it's hard to look at.
