I just looked it up. It's apparently real. The only way it makes sense if it's a 4Chan troll effort to 'take back the rainbow' or something. Even if this is legit, what's even the point of the rainbow if it's original purpose was to encompass ALL of the community? Is the rainbow obsolete now?

I wouldn't be surprised if they did that consider the rainbow to be obsolete with how anal they are about representation they would complain how they are no exclusive stripe for Trans,Lesbian,etc or why there is no black or brown stripe to acknowledge "POC" destroying the purpose of having the rainbow flag in the first place for the sake of being inclusive which is very ironic in a way now of days.

Newfag, rate late if these have been posted before. Anyway, I encountered an artist on instagram by the name of orquidia.art (tumblr, twitter, youtube), a 'they/them sapphic' after our very own DestinytoMoon's heart. Like, so similar I'm not entirely sure this isn't just a DtM alt, but I figured I'd post anyway because it has all the hallmarks of 'fetish pretending to be progressive.' Everything this artist draws is fat, black, hairy, disabled, or gay. It also suffers from typical SJW art pitfalls like wonky anatomy and shitty color theory.

These are all from her tumblr, and just some of the more recent drawings. If any brave soldier wants to comb through her Twitter or deeper into the tumblr hellhole, there are probably some more gems to be discovered.
Edit: Turns out, lads, this is in fact a DtM alt. Had me confused because it lacked the same fuckoff garbage colors as older DtM art. I guess I should be relieved there aren't more people out there drawing stuff like this. Sorry for shitting up your thread

I know this is late and gay, but I drafted this earlier today and this thread moves so fast that I'll be even later (and gayer) if I don't post it (even if it is off-topic, albeit still social justice-y):
Apparently, this is the beast that the LGBT flag has morphed into. Give it time, and we'll get a series of "re-re-redesigns" that progessively add more unique elememts as each (vocal) section of the LGBT community demands the spotlight. Hot pink for bisexuals and lesbians, cyan for pansexuals, shades of gray for the ace/demi crowd, the pi symbol for polyamory — you get the picture.
Hell, throw in that funky "autistic pride" rainbow infinity symbol while you're at it, too. (The RGB variant of the autistic pride flag is admittedly alright, though I personally wouldn't use the flag myself. The rainbow gradient just makes it look like an LGBT thing. Homoflexibility, maybe?)

If anything, the flag evolving further would mean that it's gonna be harder for artists to slap it onto characters to show how "unique" they are. Personally, I can't wait for the twisted chimera it will become.

Slight discourse thread/tweets about wypipo participating in the blackwashing stuff made by astrelle/swordknight who’s art was posted a few pages ago. I actually meant to post this the day I found it but mobileposting is inefficient and I’m a lazy re.tard.
Honestly the tweets scream "Wait, this is illegal", I like how they imply that white/non black artists aren’t also getting shat on for blackwashing when in reality they are too.

This is one of those "redesigns" that falls in the category of "Doesn't even understand the character". I have watched all of Legend of Korra and I actually liked Kuvira. Thing is, though, Kuvira wouldn't be caught dead looking like this. Her whole deal is looking put together and in-control, and her hair is actually used as shorthand for her mental state throughout the course of the season.
I shuffled the chronological order of these images, but you can still tell what order they should go in, right?

Definitely a participant in the virtue signalling, but it's quite innocuous... I was expecting it to be a racist caricature or something.
It isn't even tagged as Blacktober (it's not even October yet wtf) though so what's the deal? So non-black artists get shat on for not drawing enough characters as darker-toned but if they decide to start doing it now because they want to be allies or whatever they still get shat on and called racist (even if you weren't intentionally being performative but 90% of the time thats what this is). Nobody wins with art twitter, it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Does anyone know why they're choosing October to do this anyway? Latino History Month is September thru October but I haven't heard a peep from art twitter about that ironically enough.
