Jetta (with the black hair) is black in the comics, and the show creator wanted to make her black initially, but she ended up white in the original show. So naturally let's draw all the old TV show designs BUT just throw black skin onto white!Jetta because wOkE. Can't even draw modern Jetta. tsk.

The short one is Roxy (and the prompt was short/tall pairing) so she's being made short on purpose, but why does Stormer get a man chin???

Yeah, there was some tumblr post where a Sesame Street writer was like "no Ernie and Bert aren't gay" then realized how many gay people connected with them and was like "well okay that makes sense," I guess I kind of thought that made it canon or something. I'm not little anymore so I'm not really up on my Sesame Street these days, lol.
What's with writers and wanting to insert their gay headcanons into shows?
I don't know if anyone mentioned this already, but there's a thing going on now called blacktober? People were praising this one for the stretch marks.

Guess that one Disney princess that kissed a frog doesn't exist anymore according to Blacktober. Granted, her Disney-fied story isn't the original one, but still.

I like Tiana's story better because Goliath from Gargoyles is a voodoo-man.

Off topic, but I still remember the "complaints" that Frozen, a movie set in 1800s Norway/Scandinavia was too "eurocentric" and lacked "people of color". But a blonde, blue eyed person can't show up in Mulan or Moana.

The Frozen sequel focused on a bullshit heavy handed colonialism narrative because people were saying that the "Sami people", who are considered "indigenous" peoples of Northern Europe (and have apparently been discriminated against by other Nordic/Scandinavian people), are "people of color", even though by American standards, they're genetically the same as any other Northern European and look no different. Anyways, there was a meme years ago about a "black Elsa":

And in the sequel this is what the a "Sami" people, aka the "Northuldra tribe" was made to look like, to please the SJWs who felt there were no "people of color" in the movie:

And this is what actual Sami people usually look like:

eh, at least the Sami in Frozen 2 aren't as egregious as the black Arendellian soldier.

How in the world an African man made it to Arendelle/Denmark is beyond me.

It seems like there is a strange obsession with turning the Addams Family black for blacktober. I guess cause its halloween-ish? Several twitter artists had done them, but I went with just one, as they had done all of the members (bar the grandmother).

They're not awful, but I can't help but feel that by making them black, you remove all of the eerie spookiness that was part of the charm. Wednesday for example was supposed to look like a creepy dead girl, and Morticia was the pale, femme fatale who was almost vampiric, like a bride of Dracula. I think if they had maybe done a unique spin on it, maybe gone into a more voodoo theme, such as having Lurch be a haitian zombie etc it would have felt more unique.

Africans weren't unheard of in 18th/19th century Europe or at the various royal courts of the time. If there were tons of them, you'd have a point, but one is nothing.

I forgot about him. He stuck out like a sore thumb and you know he was only there for "dIvErSiTy".

They never did this with Mulan and people had a fit with the minor Nordic/Germanic prince character in the Aladdin remake who was implied to have been killed by Jasmine's tiger offscreen.

True, but in an off tangent comparison, Europeans weren't unheard of in Asia, especially in more recent centuries/during colonial times, but SJWs would have a fit if you had a Chinese, Japanese or Indian, etc set story with European main/major character(s).

So I guess this brings up the question as to why don't people have the same energy for movies/stories like Frozen? Instead, they were "begging" for "diversity".

Thinking about it, if it was a cast full of blacks there would 100% no other ethnicity in it. Other than the generic and fucking cliche "whitey bad" villain characters or themes that we see in almost every major modern black movies (good god they are so predictable and boring why bother watching them, haha black people are poor widdle victims pushed back by society haha copy paste 10000000 times)
Nigerian and Ugandan movies> modern and woke american black movies

Paying $10 to get a DVD of this is worth way more for diversity than a ticket to any Disney movie or whatever, this is really what supporting black creators is all about.

You also get a personalized postcard and a DVD case slip. It's pretty based.
