Now, I don't like Instagram. Who here really does?
However, I do occasionally check Pete Townshend's page on there. He posts musical updates and book reviews there sometimes.
He recently put up a picture of a painting he did in 1983.
That's a pretty nice painting, right? Well, Mr. Townshend did go to art school after all, of course he knows how to paint!
Now, obviously, this isn't SJW art at all. So why did I bring it up?
Well, I'll tell you why.
I peered into the comments of this picture and saw... this.

For a second I was like, oh, this must be someone making a joke. Obviously, I mean, how entitled do you have to be to talk down to a 75 year old musician and tell him he needs to put his "pronouns" in his account? I'm sure Pete's gonna ignore the comment anyway, I don't think he's able to read all of them, he gets a lot, and it's mostly a) other old people or b) rabid younger rock fans spamming weird cringey shit.
I digress. Out of morbid curiosity to make sure if this was in fact a serious comment or not, after I stopped laughing, I clicked the name. And, well... it's pretty par for the course, as far as this thread goes. I don't know why I expected anything different. I hope this artist hasn't been posted here before or anything, it's hard to sift through this thread sometimes. Plus a lot of these grotesque artists' stuff starts to just look the same to me after awhile... there's a way to do grotty, gritty art. This ain't it.
I have taken some particular selections and put them separately if you care to hurt your eyes more:
Oh, dear. Note the antifa tankie shit on the pins and shirt. About as subtle as Destiny's "pride" jewelry.
This art style just...looks like it smells.
And lastly...
Get your hands off Bill and Ted. And Gorillaz too... this person must really have it in for Noodle because if you see their fanart of her they make her look awful, nothing like actual Noodle.
I think they were going for Phase 1, but I also think they missed the mark by a lot.

That's just...something else entirely, oh my God. I really couldn't stop laughing at that when I saw it.
