Not to sperg out about Hitlers art but he wasn't a very good realist painter and the movement hadn't been in vogue since like 1910. He wasn't a bad painter of course and I can't judge necessarily, but there are some really stellar realist painters in history who made Hitler look like a chump.
Go look at this guys wiki page if you like this, he did over 1000 paintings in his lifetime.

Reminds me a few years ago an artist I used to follow did genderbend art of a male character and then they eventually drew straight shipping fanart with the genderbent character. The artist received an anon ask stating they were homophobic. I can't remember exactly what they said, but they definitely did not agree with the anon. It was something they did for fun.
