this fact of rock lock existing and not getting fanarts from those peeps reminds me of magne and that tiger-themed superhero in mha whose name escapes me. they're canon trans characters, but no one draws them. instead, they all make midoriya or bakugo trans.

They hate Magne because she doesn't pass well enough or looks like a caricature (even though her whole thing about not being able to afford feminizing stuff is because she's a villain is very plausible) or something, not sure what exactly. Even though virtually everyone save for Overhaul uses her preferred pronouns and calls her Big Sis 'n stuff, and that's only because Overhaul is a shit who just literally doesn't care about anyone outside of his team, not because he's "transphobic".
They also don't give a shit about Tiger. Maybe because his transition was already fully complete before he appeared in the story, meaning they can't really make any horrifying gross hairy-woman-with-saggy-tits stuff of him. But both him and Magne aren't 'relevant' enough or something for fanart at all I guess.
Both of them being transgender also has no effect on the story whatsoever (how it should be) and it certainly doesn't make Horikoshi "transphobic" but I guess these weirdos want gender shit to be a big part in a series that most certainly isn't focused on that in any way.

It's stupid IMO for heroes, villains, and whatever to wear pins; isn't it like wearing a target on your chest? Immediately, every enemy would know that all they have to get on your nerves is to 'invalidate' you. You're putting an idea into your enemy's head, you know, exactly what you're not supposed to do.

I'm assuming they're probably trying to copy the symbol of a water droplet onto their character but don't have the technical skill to even form the droplet properly in an appealing way and/or just don't bother to shade or make it look like a water droplet so it just looks like lumps and boils and dripping flesh.
And of course that's fine because why bother to put effort in when you can just slap your tranny fetish onto the characters and call everyone who doesn't like your art transphobic
