I've updated the OP again, this time with my best attempt at summarizing wtf all happened with iFent over the last two weeks:

  • User @system360 makes a post claiming that iFent used to go by the alias PhantomGreenshark, and that his real name is Bernard Green.
  • I reply skeptically to @system360's post (though grant them that some of their evidence does seem to check out), before outing @system360 as a sock of another UCS member.
  • @Jonkinator makes a more polished version of @system360's post, and also info/archive-dumps other connected information.
  • The "Administration" account on SF, shared between the site's multiple admins, claims that iFent was removed from the staff team.
  • Fella Farms comes back online, but seemingly without iFent. Shortly after, skibidifarms.st starts redirecting to FF again.
  • iFent's @Niggler Antics account comes back online to DM me and @Jonkinator with contradictory claims, before confirming he is iFent, denying the dox, claiming the SF staff team betrayed him, and offering to leak the old FF database. iFent briefly returns to SF to claim this entire series of events was a gayop, but then SF goes down and begins redirecting to the new FF, which seems to be unaffiliated with iFent.
  • The login for the @Niggler Antics account gets posted publicly by FF mods, and the account is used to attempt to spam CSAM, but is thankfully stopped by Null's new emergency reporting system. FF mods claim that iFent decided to "leave the edgesphere".

no they dont, the laws surrounding data retention for VPNs are completely different than those for something like email. there is no such thing as a "bulletproof" email provider (and if there is they will probably be seized at some point), riseup, lavabit, proton etc have all snitched when compelled to by law enforcement, yet there are no examples of the top VPNs (mullvad, protonvpn, ivpn) complying with similar legal orders--pretty much the exact same thing is applicable to hosting providers, they will hand over info and drop you as a customer if you are doing shit that could result in law enforcement shutting them down. you could maybe argue that the upstream ISPs' netflow logs of VPN providers count but these tend to be highly sampled which makes them useless for anything except attribution.

also if they claim no logs and then it's discovered that they do log it's over for them, especially for services that are widely-regarded as being trustworthy like mullvad.

Naught ("Jon") and Weird Instagram Happenings

I was doing a dive through Naught's socials, all can be found here (https://ghostarchive.org/archive/kabOM)
One thing specifically stood out to me, which seems to be a rock that has yet to be unturned, which is his Instagram (under the username "nama3faux" ) and the users following the account.

All of these accounts seem to be in some way linked to the edgesphere / com. But what is more disturbing is that the majority of these accounts are stated to be underage users, the majority between 14 and 16 and not perpetrators but potential grooming victims. My other theory is that these accounts are socks pretending to be minors to get potential victims off of discord, onto another platform (that being instagram).

These accounts are very much not normal, I know a lot of Kiwis are not familiar with Instagram but these profiles are very strange, some offering little to no info besides their age, spelt abnormally to I presume avoid filters.
I'd place all the accounts into 1 of 2 categories;

1. Users likely directly connected with the edgesphere [Edgy in-joke names and profile pictures + Elaine is there lol] This is the more uninteresting of the two.

2. Accounts claiming to be children, which include multiple face pictures of either the child or someone pretending to be that child + often links in the bio to other accounts which have the same sort of discordian aesthetic. I've censored any identifiable info in the examples below.

I imagine half of these people are actually children, the other half are people like Naught ("Jon") grooming them. It's scary to see how pervasive it is, and I imagine given the massive amount of attention placed on discord and the forums they are looking to move victims off of those platforms where there are less glowing eyes. Something new to pay attention to.
