My personal opinion is that Victoria Hentz-Ittner is an even bigger mental case than her son--she doesn't have autism as an excuse for any of her behavior, and she's totally okay with having raised a smirking, obnoxious, belligerent douchebag who thinks that as long as he's "technically" acting within the rules he can do whatever as he pleases.

Plus, she named her son "Skylar." What a fucking psycho.

That said, I'd like to revoke my previously-stated opinion that Skylar probably isn't actually gay. Scratch that--I believe that Skylar, had he attended an actual high school, would have been voted Most Likely to Be Arrested in an Airport Men's Room for Solicitation by his fellow seniors.

Christianity should not be about rules lawyering. That's for Jews. This whole thing was exhaustively addressed by the Apostles in Acts of the Apostles as well as several Letters. Jesus' Apostles were asked about Greek and other non-Jewish coverts not being circumcised, so were they to be accepted into the community. The theme was "No, Jesus came to fulfill the legalistic aspects of Mosaic law, not to enforce them." I can't believe he has never been introduced to this. This is why Roman Catholicism is a Universal Apostolic church.

In fact, Jesus even mentioned it wasn't compulsory to follow Mosaic law, especially when it wasn't practicable to do so, but it would be considered putting for the extra effort if you felt like it, but it was by no means required.

As I mentioned a few pages ago, Skylart's actually defying explicit commands of his own faith from God Himself with his actions, so by his own rulebook he really has no excuse from a theological standpoint for his actions.

And their disciplinary proceedings were actually about his threatening and disruptive conduct and not even about the posters (except as a minor, tertiary point). This is something that was explicitly conveyed to him by the school administrators at numerous points in the various audio recordings and documents he published, and something that I pointed out to him here, but he still is being obtuse about it (either deliberately or not). He's mostly ignored this except to the extent that he idiotically argued that because his conduct arose from their response to his unauthorized posters, the posters are therefore the real issue (which is logically comparable to shooting a police officer after a traffic stop and claiming that the real issue is whether one was actually speeding in the first place...when they actually were speeding, even).

Unfortunately, being wrong doesn't stop him from being a smug little shit.

It's Catholicism. Catholicism has an incredibly developed set of canon law and internal hierarchically organized courts and traditions. To be a respected canon lawyer in Catholic religious law, there's actually a terminal doctoral degree, Juris Canonici Doctor, J.C.D. To get this degree, you have to have a three year Licentiate of Canon Law degree. You can't get that unless you already have another degree. And the only degrees that qualify are also at least master's level, and include having an actual J.D. and being an actual lawyer. Which you need a bachelor's level degree to get.

This clown is a mere undergrad and a dumbfuck, and he's rules lawyering in the Catholic Church.

Believe me, Catholics can out-Jew Jews in lawyering. N.b. note that the composition of the Supreme Court of the United States is six Catholics and three Jews.

Remember this the next time you see the talking heads in the media bitch about how many Catholics are on the Supreme Court or the Federal Bench. This is why. Law and structure is baked into the Catholic culture far more than in most other sub groups.

I'm trying to imagine him having any boss. Usually people who hire for computer science related stuff are capable of using Google. A toxic online reputation combined with his horrendous in person attitude really goofs him up up unless he's planning on being self-employed his whole life.

Yeah, he's an insubordinate little shit who doesn't think rules apply to him and is unable to get along with anyone, or listen to and respect other people's opinions. He's the type who thinks he's a "brilliant jerk" but is mistaken about the "brilliant" part.

I doubt he'll be able to get a job any time soon but I'd wager that even if an employer didn't Google him and he were able to get hired, he'd get fired pretty quickly for having a toxic personality.
