Definitely a necro and I'm not even sure this is the right thread to discuss it but Jesus man. It's kind of hilarious actually to think about how the entire Slenderman mythos kind of just crashed and burned after a certain point.
Pretty much every Slenderman series either went to shit or their creator got outted for being a nonce. (Though to be fair Tribetwelve already took centuries to update to begin with.)

It sucks too because Slenderman could have potential to make something super interesting but man did everyone fumble the ball. Honestly I think them all somehow crossing over despite how little logical sense that made was definitely a big problem.

But honestly it fucking sucks about what happened to TribeTwelve because that was probably my favorite one. It was like the only one I was actually interested in the story for most of the duration. Sure it made the sin of crossing over at least once with another series but I can forgive it. Also Noah was genuinely an entertaining protagonist. He was such a fucking asshole it was great.
Not to mention the editing was probably the best of any of the series. But then the creator had to go and ruin it all.

At least Slenderman is now finally dead and buried and can rest in his box 6 feet in the dirt. But I admit I do still miss him sometimes.

They *all* got too full of themselves and made it something more complicated than it needed to be.

I can't fault them for it though. I would have done the same at their age, probably.
