Once upon a time, there was a manosphere forum called PUAHate.com, where only the most supreme of gentlemen gathered to bash pickup artists and women alike. It was that special kind of place where the trolls had become indistinguishable from the real posters, most of which had already left by 2013.

However, PUAHate could not survive the media attention after Elliot Rodger's incel revolution and was promptly taken down. Some of its more sane ex-members migrated to /r/puahate, and the rest... Well, that's what this is about really.

Typical Sluthate topics include obsessing over physical appearances (you'd almost think they were gay :tomgirl:), making edgy posts about race, and generally being pessimistic about their chances with the opposite sex.

Oh wow. That topic list on the Main Page.

Have you seen the Elliot Rodgers article?

"Elliot Rodger (July 24, 1991 – May 23, 2014) was an American author and thinker who wrote the manifesto My Twisted World. Elliot's inceldom drove him him to do the 2014 Isla Vista shootings, where he killed 7 people. Elliot was a member of PUAhate and his shooting resulted in PUAhate's closing. Inceldom was never discussed in the media until Elliot Rodger's manifesto became widespread. He brought the important issue of inceldom to the mainstream, and because of this, some consider Elliot Rodger to be a hero."

You'd almost think they were trying to be funny...

Ouch, I cut myself on the edge.
What a bunch of losers.

"Some people" being the operative words. Who, might we ask, are these people precisely, so that we may properly put a name to the citation? I'm sure they'd be most grateful for the exposure.

This makes me wonder what these two flavours would taste like...

Goddamn this site is full of pathetic Encyclopedia Dramatica wannabes.
There are two types of articles about people on ED. There are the ones about legitimate lolcows, chock full of quotes and various other instances of spaghetti spillage. Then there are those of people who aren't lolcows, but the writer hates that person with an undying passion for whatever reason, and the writer becomes more of a lolcow than the subject of the article.

Sluthate looks like a distillation of that second type.
